We gladly add our own 5-star rating... - Cathedral Cove cruises were offered by many operators, so there were brochures at every turn. However, when we asked for suggestions at our resort, the manager highly recommended Ocean Leopard Tours-Cathedral Cove Boat Tour...and there was no brochure. We easily found them on Tripadvisor, made a reservation and completed our booking online. Cruising the Mercury Bay coastline outside Whitianga, through the unspoiled Marine Reserve and continuing on to view the famous and scenic Cathedral Cove was a must-do. There were plenty of photo opportunities, but the interior of the Orua Seacave provided some very memorable ones. Liam was our skipper/guide and provided an informative and entertaining commentary throughout the two hours. Although appropriate gear was available to snorkel, we opted to just enjoy watching others. We gladly add our own 5-star rating for Ocean Leopard Tours-Cathedral Cove Boat Tour.

Coastal tour of the Coromandel Peninsula - Such an amazing tour (The Full Monty) of the coast of the Coromandel Peninsula on a rigid inflatable boat. Justin (owner/skipper) was our guide and entertained us with great stories of the area. It is clear since he grew up here that he loves this area. The boat was safe and he took care to slow down over swells for our comfort. Everyone wore life jackets. We were able to enter a cave which was a highlight. A short stop allowed people to get in the water to snorkel. Highly recommend!

Fabulous tour of Cathedral Cove and Coastal area! - Had a fabulous tour of the local coast including the iconic Cathedral Cove. Our skipper was friendly and knowledgeable. Many beautiful sites. Very worthwhile!! The boat was great as it had a sunshade for protection!

Brilliant, safe & considerate tour - We'd wanted to visit the area for years from UK and wondered how to see so many different things in a short space of time. This provided the answer! We saw so much and heard so many interesting facts. Our guide took great care to ensure that everyone got the photos they wanted, manoeuvring the boat skillfully to ensure that. A bonus for nervous people was that we were all provided with life jackets, not true of all tours.

A great trip - The trip was amazing, beautiful scenery, stunning coastline and caves. Justin was a friendly skipper and gave us plenty of information about the area

Ocean Leopard delivers a great sightseeing tour - We had a fantastic time on the Ocean Leopard Tour, our tour guide, Liam was informative and funny. The scenery was stunning with the additional wow factor being the two manta rays we saw, the dolphins leaping in and around the water next to the boat and the fish boils, complete with swooping birds. It was a tour we won't forget.

A must do in the Coromandel area! - Rad little morning with the Ocean Leopard Tours. I recommend doing this rather than just taking a water taxi to one of the beaches nearby. We got to see tons of rock formations, caves, fish, and also jumped in the water for a little snorkel at the end! Liam was our guide and he was great. Small and intimate group so it was perfect. We had our 2 year old with us and there was enough for her to see that she was happy and content the whole trip.

Full Monty is the complete experience. - The Full Monty is the complete experience. Skipper/owner, Justin, is a masterfull captain (we are experienced boaters ourselves) keeping the boat trimmed and minding the comfort of all. He grew up in the area and has great and entertaining stories of the area. He skillfully took us to all of the sights and to our suprise, we rode a swell right in to a big, enclosed cave. So fun. It was a privilege to enjoy this tour. Highly recommended and certainly worth the price.
