Great experience and LOTR fans dream! - As a lotr fan I was very excited for this tour and it didn't disappoint, our guide Tuesday was so lovely and full of loads of knowledge. It was so interesting to find out all the other films the team has worked on through the years and see how the props are made! We was lucky enough to see two artist at work while on the tour, these guys where also full of knowledge and showed us what they do and where their area of expertise lie. Also big thanks to Amber in the booking team for helping me out with changing my tour time, made it very easy and stress free! To sum up if you're a lotr/movie fan or not it's definitely worth going to this experience as it makes you appreciate the time and effort that goes into props! 😁

Can't remember our guides name but she was awesome. - Absolutely love Weta. Been to both Wellington and Auckland. Both are amazing, but being LOTR's and the Hobbit fans, we find Wellington is our favourite. We've been to Wellington twice and Auckland once. Wellington was a must do, even though we went there in 2019 we found the tour had been updated and we saw and heard new things. We would go again next time we visit from OZ

Props making - It was fun to see how the props were made. I enjoyed the video of making of the face casts and all the props that we could see in person. Do wish we could have taken pictures, but I understand it is a copyright issue. I also wish that they could correct inaccuracies that are known to them (some Narnia props are incorrectly labeled, as many people have apparently pointed out but remain unchanged). We also went to the leather working shop, which was my personal favorite, as we got to see some more props and make our own small leather piece.
