Informative, comfortable, & fun. - Excellent tour. Simon, the guide & driver, was very knowledgeable, friendly, & helpful. Hotel pickup & drop-off was on time & uncomplicated. Lunch at the end was very good.

Great wine tour with Simon - Wonderful tour. Simon our tour guide is so knowledgeable about wine and he really took good care of us. We visited 3 wineries and our favorite one is Poppies. Lunch at Hall winery was exceptionally good and the properties also beautiful

A great experience - People always make or break an experience, in this case Simon made this tour a great experience and created a friendly open atmosphere. The Moy Hall is great for you to take pictures to remember the trip, and the crew at Muirlea Rise were funny and it was interesting to hear about their history, and finally winding down for a friendly chat at Grava with the group and Simon was the cherry on top for the final stop, felt like an old group of friends just talking. Thank you all for a lovely tour.

Highly recommended - We are from Australia and had the best day. From the time our tour guide Michael picked us up from Wellington Station we knew we were going to have a great day. Great wine tasting trip to Martinborough - This was a great trip to see more of the North Island landscape on the way from Wellington to Martinborough and try 3 great wineries. Each winery was in a lovely setting, and we had a wonderful gourmet lunch to complete the trip. The conversation was great with the others in our small group which made it a very enjoyable day.

A fabulous wine tasting experience - A lovely lunch at a beautiful winery overlooking the outstanding countryside was our everlasting experIence of this tour. Simon picked us up on time from our hotel and we drove over a mountain pass to the wine area. Our small group were very social and we enjoyed three different winery tasting visits which were extremely interesting and well presented. There was a much greater variety of wines than we expected. On the way back we called in a small cheese making shop which was popular. Overall, it was a very pleasant easy going day.

Lovely Day out of the City - A lovely visit to the Martinborough area.
It was only a 90 minute drive from Wellington but the beautiful area felt like a completely different place.
Lunch at the Moy Hall Vineyard was excellent, but be aware that all the dishes are advertised as suitable for 1.5 people, so if you're travelling alone don't have a large breakfast!
Finally, Simon the guide was friendly and engaging and the drive over the mountains felt completely safe in his hands.

Excellent fay - Phil was very informative and the vehicle was comfortable. The scenery was picturesque. The boutique wineries made the experience special. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour in Martinsborough - Simon is a great guide for this tour. He knows a lot about wine making, a lot about the wineries in Martinborough, and a lot of information on the general area.
I really enjoyed the wineries and the wines.

Good wine tour - Good tour, which I’d certainly recommend. There’s a spectacular drive over the Remataku Pass to Martinborough, and then it’s not far between wineries. Unfortunately I joined the tour at Wellington Station & had a cold 30 mins wait. The last winery was very crowded & I found it less enjoyable, but it was a Saturday.
