- C. la Cancela, 46 - We set off about an hour before the Sunset, reaching the top to observe the Sun setting on the West and the Full Moon rising on the East. This is a 3-hour hiking experience, stopping to enjoy the views and talking about the history, culture, and astroarchaeology of this ancient volcanic island. We descend in the Blue Hour, observing the brightest stars visible under the glare of the Moon.
If you suffer from vertigo this will be a challenge for you, but one worth taking!

Ever witnessed the dusk and lunar ascend from a volcano’s apex? It’s a distinct event not to be foregone! We get to the volcano’s mouth to watch the sun descend on the Western horizon. We then shift our gaze East for the moon’s ascend. Gain insights into astro archaeology and the historical and cultural heritage of this olden volcanic island on our way up!

Best experience ever! - The moon hiking and star gazing trip was both amazing. Karen's astronomy knowledge is outstanding and i learned a lot whilst witnessing the moon rise. Would definitely recommend not missing out on this experience!
