- Morro Dois Irmaos - We will hike up one of Rio’s highest favelas or Comunidades along the famous Two Brothers mountain. This hike can be at Sunrise, Mid Day or Sunset. Here you will learn what a Favela is, you will experience amazing views and a cultural food experience.
Please bring sneakers, Shoes or hiking boots. Hiking with flip-flops or sandals is not recommended and can make the hike uncomfortable!

Meet at the park called Praça do Vidigal....We will meet in the square near the stage. You can take Uber, 99 Taxi or Metro to Leblon, Antero de Quental station and take a Van or bus to the square of Vidigal.

One of my favourite things I did during my time in Brazil! - Our tour guide, Rodrigo, was amazing!! I would give him 10 stars if that was an option. He was so knowledgeable of the ecology and wildlife, very friendly and excellent English. I liked that it was a smaller group (7 total) and would recommend the sunset tour as it was less busy and the views were breathtaking. I really enjoyed taking the motorcycle (driven by locals) through the favela - it was a great way to have some exposure and a lot of fun if you are comfortable on motorcycles. It was a pretty easy hike as long as you are moderately fit. Highly recommended!

Sunset hike - Super hike with Henry who is sharing his experience. He is leaving in the favelas that we need to cross to access the hike.
We did the hike for the sunset and the view is really amazing !

Beautiful views at the top of Rio - Henry and Lucas made it amazing experience and guided us well on our hike. Beautiful views and sunset, would highly recommend this trek if you are in Rio 😁

Really worth it! - Really good really nice! Was really fun trip! Was interesting to heard about favelas and about Brazil in general. Felt super safe all the time (much safer than in center of Rio)

Beautiful experience - This was a great experience. Rodrigo was an amazing guide and it was totally worth going with him than doing it on my own. One of my favorite things I’ve done in Rio so far!

Excellent - Highly recommend! - Great experience. The guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Communication was very clear and the hike and view from the top was amazing!! I would absolutely do this again, and recommend to anyone visiting Rio!

Unforgettable experience!!! - I did the Two Brothers sunrise trail and favela tour. Both were excellent but the highlight was the Two Brothers trail. Traveling through the favela at 4am on motor taxis then going up the mountain trail was unreal!!! The views from the top of the sun rising over Rio have to be seen to be believed!!!
Cant say enough good things about Henry, Digao and Rodrigo all were brilliant!!! Id highly recommend any of the experiences but the Two Brothers sunrise trail is an absolute must!!! (and the Favela tour needs to be done too).

Not just a hike, a Brazilian experience - LOVED this excursion! Multiple beautiful viewpoints of Copacabana, Rochina, and the sunset, and plenty of time at the top. The short motorcycle ride through Vidigal favela felt easy and safe, we were first time riders. Digão was awesome and went above and beyond to help us out. My friend had shoes with poor traction (the hike is pretty steep, this was a mistake), he noticed and literally held her hand half of the way down. He took so many photos and videos for us, was patient and fun. Hike was mostly shaded, wear bug spray. Highly recommend!

Best trail, tour and guides!!! - I took this tour on November 30th with a group of 10 people. I'm writing this review because I loved the experience and to directly counter DeLia K's negative review, which was rude, cruel to the guides, and made everyone feel uncomfortable. Henry was super professional and asked her to leave. He was not rude or cruel to her. It was exactly the opposite! She was belittling Henry, swearing at his guide and Henry, very professionally, asked her to leave. She was also 15 minutes late, which made everyone late. Some people refuse to truly take responsibility for their own actions. Henry is not one of them. amazing person, I work with local guides and really enjoyed Rodrigo's company who took us on the trail that night. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately he cancelled 1 day before - Unfortunately he cancelled 1 day before, and don’t give me any other option to join the trip so I did alone, and actually I see him there with him grup I don’t know if one people less or more make an difference but he just don’t find a way, anyway..
