The full sweep of Western civilization in three hours - This was an exceptional way to spend three hours.
Manuel combines his passion for architecture, history, religion and politics all into one grand sweeping narrative.
The story of Palladio is a story that pulls a common thread from ancient Greece through the Holy Roman Empire, the Reformation, the British Empire and right up to today's great public buildings of the United States.
We looked at the city (and every city!) with new eyes after this great tour.

Architecture is language - This e-bike tour was a highlight of our trip. Manuel is an outstanding tour guide and he shared his love for Vicenza through the story of its history as we rode along with well spaced stops. As he said “architecture is language” and before our eyes we saw the story of Palladio come to life. The e-bikes were state of the art and easy to use. I highly recommend this tour.

Tour of Vicenza e-bike - This is an amazing tour. Guide was wonderful and very informative about the history of the city. Manuel, our guide, loves his job. The bikes are easy to ride even if you have never ridden a e-bike and guide explained the operation of bike very well. I would take this tour again.

This is the way to see Vicenza - Our tour today was fantastic. Our tour guide Manuel was extremely knowledgeable and clearly loved what he does! We saw parts of Vicenza and learned things that we would never have learned on our own. The bikes are easy to ride even though I had never ridden an e-bike before.

Make mine a double - One of the best tours I’ve been on. I began this tour knowing little about Vicenza and Palladio. Our guide Manuel , a true renaissance man with deep knowledge of architecture, philosophy and history educated us, entertained us and shared his passion for Vicenza . Riding an E bike made it possible to climb steep hills and see spectacular sites. The bikes are sturdy and easy to use. We were so inspired by our city tour that we returned the next day for a tour of a villa designed by Palladio. Thank you Manuel for sharing your heart and soul with us.

Great Tour, Great Stories - Palladian Routes delivered an exceptional tour. We got to see all the Palladian highlights with a knowledgeable and engaging guide, Manuel. This compact 2.5 hour worked well with our limited schedule and provided us with an informed overview of the major Palladian sites to visited more thoroughly on our own. Highly recommend this tour. Excellent value and great people. Also, the bikes worked great.

Great Story, Great Tour - This 2.5 hour tour was wonderful! The guide was deeply knowledgeable about the city’s history and especially the architecture. We learned a lot. While we didn’t get to see every Palladian building in Vicenza we saw most of them and were provided with a good overview of the body of his work, from the beginning through to the end.
The bikes worked well and there were a few nice passages where we able to get outside the city center to see some parks and villas. I highly recommend this tour. Excellent value and great people!
