Additional Information

Join us for a memorable excursion at our familial vineyard with the wine cultivator!

We are a unique boutique winery nestled in the center of Valpolicella, conducting activities to convey our love for Valpolicella and Amarone wines to our visitors (we provide it personally, without the intervention of third-party brokers or tour guides).

We’ll kick off by strolling through the vineyard, sharing the ancestral narrative of the winery and the estates. You’ll understand how to dry Amarone grapes in a traditional drying room, in a method known as Appassimento. We’ll explore our farmhouse and the 17th-century cellar used for wine fermentation and maturation. The finale will include a tasting session of a range of our exquisite wines such as Valpolicella, RIPASSO, and the exquisite AMARONE, learning to critique them visually, olfactorily, and gustatorily.

You’ll also relish our organic EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, local cheese known as Monte Veronese, and Soppressa Valpolicella (a variant of salami).

Looking forward to welcoming you on our breathtaking terrace overlooking Valpolicella!

A nice winery to visit - We really enjoyed the wine tasting. The host was very attentive. The way to the vineyard was easy - a 30 min bus drive from the city centre to San Florino where the host will meet you. The history of the place and the winery is very interesting. We had 3 types of wine to taste and some snacks (a cherry mustard was delicious) A really cozy welcoming place. We would definitely recommend 😊

Valpolicella tour - Unique experience, immersed in the Valpolicella area in a unique and ancient cellar. The girls who accompanied us on the tour were kind and friendly for the entire duration of the experience and super prepared on the topics exposed. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover an authentic reality in the production of Veronese wine.

Breathtaking!! - BEST experience ever!!!! We celebrated my husbands 70th birthday with our adult kids and their spouses up here and we were blown away with the spectacular view and the amazing experience Nicolai and his family provided. The setting was breath taking and we had a full tour of the vineyards, cellar, personal library of wines and full explanation of the history of the winery as well as how they grow and produce the wine. Nicolai’s wife made this extra special by presenting a traditional cookie(birthday cake) and sang happy birthday in Italian!! An experience of a life time and one that will be with us all forever!!! Thank you Tenuta Family!!

Interesting experience, almost perfect - The place is wonderful and so is its history. The wine is good, a little expensive, but there's a reason for it that needs to be understood. The only flaw: the food offered with the tasting is very little, it is difficult to "handle" the tasting of 3 or 4 wines (we Amarone for example) with a platter of salami and cheese (also very good) to be divided into 4. Two fettuccine would have solved the problem, but also a second cutting board... we would have also been willing to pay more.

Anyway, a nice experience.. - Stunning location for the view and historical value. Little empathy from the owner. A quality wine and well described, but given the quantity, it should have been accompanied by a greater quantity of appetizers.

Not worth the money spent - The view is certainly very beautiful, as the farm is located almost at the top of the hill and has a terrace overlooking the plain and the hills full of vineyards. The welcome and courtesy of the winemaker were good. The experience was negative both for the wine tastings (three types for a total of about half a glass in all) accompanied by a small tray with three piles of cheese, one of soppressa and a basket of bread. Since it was really scarce we asked for another one which was promptly brought to us. All this does not justify the asking price (€80 per person) even including the visit to the small cellar and the view of the vineyard. Experience not to be repeated
