Great day tailored for what you want. - We had a great day with Calle our guide. There were 3 of us including my granddaughter of 10. Calle tailored the tour to what we anted to do, a d also took us to places we would not have done. IncludIcelandic ponies and experimental viking village. All this culminating in visiting the Thokal stone U344. Can't recommend this highly enough. We all enjoyed it

Very Knowledgeable guide! Angus... -
Very Knowledgeable guide! Angus showed us many sites, the churches and their history, the religion history and the stones! The rune were very interesting and the stories they told behind them which you would not be able to decipher on your own. Angus allowed us to ask many questions and he even answered personal questions about his living in the area for 6 generations. If you are interested in this area, this is a very good tour.

A personalized private tour - My husband and I took the Private Tour: Swedish History Day Trip to World Heritage Candidate Markim-Orkesta from Stockholm. It was excellent. The two guides Angus and Jonathan were knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. It was nice to get out of city and see some of country side. The tour itself was full of history, stories, and had a real personal touch to it. We saw not only ruins but historical sites, farms and churches. They provided so much information that we couldn't get from reading a book or website. The pick up and drop off service from our hotel was helpful. Well worth the time and money. Highly recommend it!

A good day. - The trip was very interesting and learned quite a lot. More time to sit down to have a lunch would have been better as time was running out to see all the things. An extra history building or style of old home would have been good to have seen to mix it up a bit.
