Starting at the foot of the Sugarloaf Mountain, right below the ‘Teleférico Pão de Açúcar’ sign as seen in the image – that’s where your guide will be for this 60-minute tour.
Use your fast-pass ticket to bypass the queue, leading you directly to the cable car. Ride this car to the Urca Hill stop. Pause here to admire the cityscape before advancing on the journey, catching another cable car to ascend to the peak of Sugarloaf Mountain. Once at the summit, relish in the splendid and wide-ranging views of Rio de Janeiro.
Experience one of the world’s most awe-inspiring panoramas, taking in the vista of Copacabana Beach, Guanabara Bay and the far-reaching sights visible from Sugarloaf’s peak. Must See on a clear day! - Fast pass ticket is the way to go. We waited very short both to and from. There was a little lounge area where you could use the clean bathroom and get a free water. The views were AMAZING!!

Fast Pass (VIP) is a Must - Jal was a very nice and accommodating tour guide. I was rushing to try and get amazing sunset pictures and he made it happen! Our meet up was at 5, but with sunset at 5.17, there wasn’t much time. He had our VIP (skip the line) tickets ready as soon as I got there and we made it up the cable car lines so quickly that I had time to capture some great sunset photos and grab a complimentary beer on the way up! I really wanted to get the pictures that afternoon since the next 2 days in Rio were expected to be cloudy. Jal understood the assignment and exceeded expectations to make that happen!

Lunch at a Churrasqueira, Sunset at Sugarloaf - We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the churrasqueira with full explanations of the different Brazilian foods provided by our guide Newton. We absolutely enjoying spending our afternoon with our guide he was so caring, accommodating, and professional. He was patient as we stopped to shop and take pictures at the different sites. At sunset we went to the Sugarloaf which was stunning. We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed the sites and the company of our guide whom we are thankful for such a great service and attention. Newton, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making sure our first time in Rio was memorable.

Birilliant - We've just come to the end of a 9 day stay in Rio. We used the services of a local guide called Jalbeir Guimaraes who was superb. His local knowledge was great (though to be expected), however its all the little extras that made us use him exclusively for a naumber of days. we dont like big groups so always opt for the personal attention of a guide. Even tho this is mor expensive, you can move around faster than a big group and a private tour is more flexible. Jalbeir, showed us the normal 'touristy' attractions as well as what the locals do for fun. Sadly, we leave Rio, but feel as though we have really seen it all and 'done Rio, like a local". Great 1/2 day in Sugarloaf Mountain - Adriano guía y chofer was an excellent and knowledgeable guide with valuable information and recommendations. We are planning to acquire his services again for other tours! And he speaks many languages and takes great pictures too... Fue un placer conocerte, nos veremos pronto! 😊
