Additional Information

Ubud is renowned for its association with the arts, particularly painting. It also provides a chance to discover its splendid countryside. The first point of interest is the traditional Balinese homes, architecturally distinct from modern ones. Proceeding towards central Ubud, we visit the Puri Lukisan museum; a showcase of work from famed Balinese painters and sculptors. Neighbouring the museum is Puri Saren Ubud – the palace of Ubud’s latter-day king. Home to remarkable Balinese artistry, this palace is indeed a sight to behold. The Ubud art market is situated just across the palace; an abundance of Balinese artwork can be found here.

Departing central Ubud, a journey to the countryside and rice fields leads to Petulu village, the habitat of white herons. They typically return to the village around 4 PM and depart the next morning around 9 AM.

The paintings of the local Ubod artists took our breath away. We did not go home without bringing 4 pieces paintings. Weda our guide is a very good guide. He is knowledgeable of the messages he wants to impart. Most of all he has good manners and right conduct.

The trip to Ubud, Bali, is a must... -
The trip to Ubud, Bali, is a must when visiting this island. The temple and the royal palace are already the approach of a value-hour. I was the only participant of this trip and very much regret that the guide wanted to fulfill my personal wishes, although this does not make detours would have. He wanted me necessarily result in a museum and to the Reistreassen I had but seen it all.
Positive was during this tour that the driver was on time, what with Tour East Indonesia is not always the case.
Unpleasant, however, was that the driver had constant bouts of coughing and I asked if he was healthy. He answered my question by saying that he had drunk too much the night before. For me it was uncomfortable, so I broke off the trip. Too Bad.
This guide, spoke of all the worst-to-understand English. In summary, the place is amazing, the sights amazing the performing mediocre

Was not very happy with this tour... -
Was not very happy with this tour. We were all crammed into a mini bus which was not easy for the younger adults very difficult for the two older ladies. We were taken to places that were ok but no commentary or anything. The driver and guide were nice but one just sat and didn't say much and the other just drove. The batik place and wood place were good. The silver place was a mixed bag of heat and very pushy sales people. Would not do it again and would not recommend this tour.
