- Blackfriars Court - Guests will hear about the medieval and religious history of Newcastle and about Newcastle’s history in war as we look at the city walls.
- Newcastle Central Station - Guests will hear about the construction of the station, railway and also of St Mary’s Cathedral, they will also hear about the city’s Roman origins and social history of the city.
- Church of St John the Baptist - Guests will discover Newcastle’s Grainger Town as we move from St John’s to the Bigg Market and High Bridge
- Grey’s Monument - The last section of our tour brings us to Grey St, featuring Newcastle’s grandest theatre, important inventions, underground rivers and vikings.

Highly recommend!!! - Absolutely brilliant tour, highly recommend for anyone visiting!!! The tour included so many wonderful facts and figures, historical info and some more really interesting modern fun facts too!! I thoroughly enjoyed myself!!

Humourous, interesting and fun - Wes was welcoming and punctual. The tour was very informative, but with lovely tones of humour! With a casual walk around town, some wonderfully interesting stories about the history of the city, I would never have otherwise, well worth the time! Thanks Wes

City tour - We really enjoyed this tour with Wes recently, the tour was both educational and informative, Wes is very passionate about his home town Newcastle, we learnt about the Romans, the Scots, and the Vikings, he pointed us in the right direction for Shops & Restaurants (Vegan), we also enjoyed his great sense of humour! Walking Tour of Newcastle - Wes was informative, humorous and well-organised. We enjoyed a full two hour tour which incorporated the city's history and its many contrasts and historic figures.
When we'd finished our tour Wes recommended visiting the castle, which we did. Amazing views from the castle battlements of the city and bridges. Well worth a visit but note there are 99 steps to the top.

Newcastle's greatest hits - We had a great tour! Wez was so informative. We learned so much about Newcastle that we had never known.
We saw almost all the downtown area and the gorgeous Georgian buildings.
