Must do in Xi’an - Michael and our driver Mr Wong were great. Michael English was very good. He gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what to do around our hotel. We were travelling around China for a bit and Michael gave us information on them as well. We were told 2 days in Xi’an would be enough. We had 3 and wish we had added another day. So I would recommend 4 nights and do this 2 full on days in between. There was so much to take in and Michael was full of information. One of my favourite places in China. It was great not having to work out where to get lunch as well. Had 2 nice lunches. This tour is a must in Xi’an. Another bonus was both men didn’t smoke which isn’t like most Chinese.

Excellent experience, highly recommend! - Michael is a walking encyclopaedia. Throughout the tour, he did not miss a beat to provide us with the most precious details behind every artefact, site or monument. The rich knowledge of history as well as the convenient transportation made this tour one that I can recommend to anyone visiting Xi’an.

Amazing Historical Sites and Excellent Tour Guide - The highlight of this tour was the historical sites of the two terracotta armies. There is so much history in Xi’an and our tour guide was professional and provided very good explanation. Our tour guide and the drive provided excellent services. Our group totally enjoyed this two-day tour. The only improvement I want to suggest would be more timely response from the tour operator. I was asked to communicate via WhatsApp. I sent a couple of messages to the tour operator and noticed after 24+ hours that the messages were still not being read. Eventually, I asked the tour guide to relate my messages to the tour operator and obtained the answers through the tour guide.

Shine in Xi'an - Shine was our tour guide and was amazing from the airport pick up and throughout the entire trip. We visited the Han Mausoleum, Muslim Food Quarter for sites and tastes, Terracotta Army, Large Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an City Wall bike tour, Art Street, Han food market, and Xi'an Museum. Shine spoke excellent Englisha and had a great sense of humour! She is knowledgeable and intelligent and gave us a fascinating insight into the history and beauty of Xi'an. Would 100% recommend Shine as a guide. Jack and Becky

Great 2 days in Xian - I travelled with my husband and 3 kids (10,8,5), I was a little worried at first due to the kids age and attention. However our guide Jackie made it so easy. It kept the childrens attention with lots of 'fun facts'. We saw some amazing sites, Terracotta warriors, Xian city wall, Big Goose Pagoda and so much more. We go to taste some local cuisine. I would not travel any other way, I would highly recommend this tour for families, it is so worth it.

Two Fantastic Days in Xi’an - Our tour guide Cathy was absolutely fantastic. Her English was fantastic and her knowledge of her home town of Xi’an. She was able to adapt our tour schedule between the two days to accommodate our pace (spent a bit longer than normal at the Terra Cotta Soldiers Museum), and weather (rained the second day. She fearlessly led us through the Muslim Food Street and knew the best ways to get us in and out of the sites quickly. Can’t say enough about this tour. Must do.

Xi'an Tour - Xi'an is an excellent place to visit to see the China's past. President Xi once said, "If you want to see past of China, visit Xi'an; if you want to see China's today visit Beijing; and if you want to see future of China visit Shanghai." I am truly impressed by the city and its people. I did not hire services except a tour guide at the Tetra Cotta Soldiers site. It takes about 45 minutes from city to site, so taxi will cost around 200 yuan. I stayed in the Holiday Inn very close to Wild Goose Pagoda and everything was close.

Exceptional Experience! - Michael was a fantastic tour guide. He was extremely well versed in Chinese history and was able to give us the background information we needed to fully enjoy the experience. He was always smiling and went out of his way to make sure we got the most from our experience. For example, my husband's flight was cancelled the night prior to the tour, so he ended up taking a train from Beijing. Rather than sticking with the original itinerary which would have meant my husband would miss the entire first day, Michael offered to rearrange things so that we could pick up my husband at the train station so that he only missed one activity! In addition, when Michael discovered that I had never used chopsticks and the restaurant did not have any forks, he disappeared for a few minutes and returned with a bag of ramen noodles which included a fold-up fork which I could use. Talk about going above and beyond! I would highly recommend this tour as it hits the “must-see” places in Xi’an, and if you are lucky enough to get Michael, you’ll be in for a real treat!
