Highlights

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba island via Hai Phong city (L,D)

Hanoi - 07:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for journey to Hai Phong city the largest harbor in Red River Delta. The bus ridding on freeway N05 also bring you a good view of rice field and local village.

Cat Ba National Park - 10:00 AM: Arrive in Hai Phong city and aboard speed boat to Cat Ba island. Following speed boat is the lovely ride of 20 minutes to Cat Ba town which mostly giving you the sea view and jungle smell of Cat Ba National Park

Lan Ha Bay - 12:00. Get on a boat, check-in procedures.
1.00 p.m: Lunch with fresh seafood is served (vegetarian and kids menus available). We are slowly getting off the classic cruising routes, keep admiring the amazing karts with different formations on the way. Limestone rock formations will parade around us for about 1 hours before our first stop.

Halong Bay - 14:00 AM: Start kayaking around Lan Ha bay and Cat Ba National Park for visiting local fish farm, secluded beaches and secret lagoon. You will kayak through the beautiful scenery of the bay and tide permitting, will be able to paddle right into Dark Cave and Bat Cave.
Amongst the many ways to explore this legendary stone world, kayaking has been emerging as a new, exciting and adventurous way that can lead tourists to the most primary parts of the bay.
After one/one and a half hour kayaking, we get back on boat, and then the afternoon is perfect for some diving, swimming, fishing, sunbathing or snorkeling…Relax on the sundeck, enjoy fuits and drinks.

7.00 p.m.: A romantic dinner embraced by one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world will warm up every sense and passion of yours, and the evening will be full of surprise with party on boat and night squid fishing, relaxing, enjoy music.
Staying overnight in a cozy air-conditioned cabin with en-suite bathroom facilities is also a favorite of many visitors.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island.

Halong Bay - 7.00 a.m.: Coffee, tea and fruit will be served from 7.00 a.m. Wake up smoothly while witnessing the silence of beautiful misty bay, energize your body and soul or just allow yourself some idle time on a sunbath with a cup of coffee

Lan Ha Bay - 7h30: After breakfast, we continue our cruise in Lan Ha Bay around Lan Ha bay, visiting local fish farm.
10h30: Get back to the cruise and heading back to Cat Ba Island.
and bus transfer back to Hanoi. Trip ends in Hanoi around 16:00

16:00 PM: Get back to Ben Beo pier and transferred back to hotel.(L)

Cruising through Paradise - The 2 days and 1 night cruise package was the perfect way to explore the stunning beauty of Lan Ha Bay and its picturesque surroundings. The staff at Vietnam Insider Travel were extremely professional and made sure that every aspect of the tour was taken care of, leaving me free to soak in the beauty of the place.Words cannot do justice to the unique experiences I had on this tour, from watching the sunrise over the bay to swimming in the crystal-clear waters. It was truly a dream come true.

It was truly a trip to remember - From the moment we arrived at the island, the breathtaking scenery took my breath away. The nature trails we hiked on were like something out of a fairytale - lush green forests, crystal clear streams, and hidden waterfalls. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The highlight of the trip was watching the sunset from the top of Cannon Fort, an experience I will never forget. And I have to mention the excellent service provided by Vietnam Insider Travel - every aspect of the tour was well-organized and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend Vietnam Insider Travel for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Cat Ba Island and have an unforgettable adventure.

Truly Exotic Adventure with Vietnam Insider Travel! - The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the tour packages are flexible and tailored to your needs. My favorite part of the trip was the Lan Ha Bay 2 Day 1 Night Cruise Package. The boat was luxurious and the views were breathtaking. The activities were fun and exciting, and the food was delicious. Ha long Bay overnight cruise - Thank you Lucky for an amazing two day trip to Alan Ha Bay and all the information we needed ... it was an incredible day kayaking threw the caves and beaches , also sleeping overnight on the boat was very relaxing and the food was great . We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Vietnam and their culture . Thank you again Lucky (need)

Tour to remember - Fabulous experience, we loved the tour . We went to Lan Ha bay which is quieter than Halong and not as touristy , with the same landscape. Kayaking, you could have 2 hours but not compulsory, we stayed out about an hour. It was so quiet and magical . The boat only had 4 cabins there were 6 of us in total. The food was excellent and so much of it . We kept our bedroom curtains open just to see the beauty of the place . Staff were polite and helpful . The next day we went cycling (or electric car ) in Cat ba the scenery is stunning. I couldn’t recommend this trip enough from booking to the tour itself

Disappointing - We booked directly with Vietnam Insider Travel. Inexplicably, they are even in the Lonley Planet. The trip we then took was with sunlight cruise. They didn't even know Vietnam Insider Travel. We didn't do what was described. We had a terrible room with a small porthole and a window at the back behind the bed. We couldn't open it because it was directly above the ship's engine with its exhaust fumes. The food was terrible. A waste of time and money.
