Prestvannet Lake - Prestvannet is a scenic area on top of Tromsø Island.
The prestige water and surrounding parkland are a hiking destination in Tromsø, summer and winter. The water has a rich bird life with ducks, gulls, and other birds, and because of this, parts of the water are protected during nesting time. The water is located on Tromsøya, 96 meters above sea level, and covers about 75 acres. - Tromso Botaniske Hage - The Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden is a colorful oasis located in the Northern part of the Tromsø island where you can enjoy some relaxing time away from the city noises. The garden exhibits alpine plants and flowers from all continents, even some that usually grow in attitudes of 7000 MSL.
- Skansen - The oldest house in Tromso, built as a customs station in 1789, is surrounded by smaller houses. The foundations are the remnants of mediaeval fortifications, possibly from the 13th c., which today appear as a small park.
- Polaria - Housed in a very distinctive building that represents ice floes that have been pressed up on land by the rough seas of the Arctic, you will discover Polaria.
