We’ll depart from the Hotel and head to Mundaú Beach, which is about 154 kilometers from Fortaleza, taking roughly two hours. The journey fascinates with its surrounding natural beauty, mostly because it’s via the coastal road.

The charm of the beach lies in its pristine state, with minimal human interference. A remarkable feature are its partially crystalized dunes that have a dark hue, creating an illusion of being overlaid with stones. The exceptional natural surroundings are undoubtedly the main draw of this beach.

Additionally, Mundaú boasts of a fishing village and Mundaú River’s estuary, resulting in a mangrove area teeming with diverse fauna. The minimal alterations by humans on the beach consist of creating apt infrastructures for tourists, such as restrooms and showers, as well as eco-friendly catamaran river cruises. Our stay at Mundaú will last for about five hours, after which, we’ll head back to the hotel.
