Amazing camping trip - I absolutely loved the overnight desert trip, it was a highlight of my time in Morocco. Momo is friendly, knowledgebale guide and a fun travel companion. We had several stops at local villages on the way to the desert to break the journey. I enjoyed watching the sunset from the sand dunes, and tried sand boarding too. The tents are comfortable, and the sunrise was beautiful. Many thanks for an amazing experience!

I can highly recommend... - I can highly recommend this experience. Momo was an amazing tour guide. Very friendly, he was very helpful in explaining the amazing culture and traditions from every place that was part of the tour. The immerse experience of enjoying delicious food prepared by local families is amazing. The highlight, however, is the night at the dessert. It is everything I expected. The people at the camp were very helpful and make you feel more than welcome.

A must do trip for exploring Morocco - Such an amazing trip with Mohammed. He was so knowledgable about the area we learnt a lot. We visited places we would never have seen and Mo went out of his way to make sure we had a fab trip. The campsite is beautiful and Sahid and Haib cooked a delicious tagine. Highlight was watching the stars tucked under a cosy blanket as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. We also loved sand boarding and running up the sand dunes, quad bikes along the beach (one of the worlds most beautiful) and pretty much everything else. A must do if you want to explore Morocco with and expert (and friend).

Unforgetable experience - We had an amazing experience! Our driver Momo was really kind and the perfect guide. He put a lot of effort into details to make sure everything was exceptional. He was very entertaining and we had a lot of fun during the trip. The camping in the desert was very nice and Sahid, Abdul and Habib were great hosts. I will never forget my time in Sahara thanks to them, I'd recommend it without any doubt!

Unlocked a new experience - We had an amazing time with Driver Momo (Mohamed) who was very knowledgeable about almost each Village and Town we visited on our way from Agadir to El Borj. The door to the desert trip will definitely be redone by myself.

Night under the stars - Trip advisor review We have just returned from our overnight trip into the desert. Our guide Mohamed (MoMo) was great using a combination of English and google translate to tell us about Moroccan agriculture and fishing, Spanish colonialism and the Berber culture. When we got to the camp we were joined by Said, Abdul and Habib from the local village. We watched the sunset from the dunes. We were the only ones there which felt a little odd, and I think they felt they had to ‘entertain’ us when we would have been perfectly happy lying back and watching stars and enjoying the quiet of the desert. The tents are simple but comfortable and warm. We got up for the sunrise which was beautiful and peaceful- a never to be forgotten experience. There are the usual stop offs at a pottery place, silver shop and the argan oil cooperative with various levels of pushy selling (we came back with some bowls and oil) So make sure you bring cash for souvenirs and the two lunches and tips. On the way home we would have liked to explore Tiznit more and maybe have lunch there rather than the Berber house which was lovely but off the beaten track. Overall would recommend this trip for the and definitely Mohamed as a guide.

AMAZING! - Amazing experience! 3 of us - myself, my husband and our 16 yers old daughter were met by very good driver, wonderful tour guide and awfully lovely man Mohamed, left around 08:40 and had around 6 stops including one stop for the lunch just after 14:00, until we reached our destination in the dessert right after 18:00. In the camping place we met another 4 very nice young men who were looking after us. After the sunset we had time to hang around and were served dinner. Later we sat down next to the fireplace, and time later danced all together while listening to the locally popular music! Time flew fast, so we went to sleep in our tent (2 people per tent). Next day we woke up to see the sunrise and after breakfast we left. We had another few stops on the way back, including lunch. We were back home before 18:00. Make sure to have money to pay for your lunch (2 lunches per person approx €17-€19) and extra for tea/coffee or snacks in cafe or shop, and some for souvenirs. Also, bring some warm clothes to wear during your sleep in the tent- I needed to wear tracksuit, my husband was fine to sleep in the shorts with t-shirt on. Overall, we had great time! Highly recommend! P.S. Cat the lives at the camping site, is super cute and clean, always tries to steal some food while you eat :D

The most wonderful time with our guide Mohamed! - This excursion is the best we could hope for! With our dedicated guide and driver for our family, we not only had the best experience sleeping in the desert but also visited and discovered so many lovely places such as a pottery workshop, a fisherman village, souks and shops along the way! Honestly I can’t recommend this enough. We booked this trip for my birthday and the bivouac team put the special music and we danced around the camp fires till very late. What a day! Seeing the sunset from the top of sand dunes, eating a tagine under the Berber tent, watching the stars and sleeping under the warm blankets of our tent …what a treat! Thank you Mohamed for such a wonderful time and all the care and professionalism you put in this trip for us. A souvenir we’ll cherish forever 🥳🙌🤩

Wonderful experience - From the moment Rachid our guide collected us at the hotel we were given an experience like none other. We visited a pottery to see tagines and other lovely pottery being made in traditional Berber style. We had a fish tagine on Legzira beach. We chose to hire a quad for a dash up the beach to see the amazing rock arches. We visited Sidi Ifni to take photos of the panoramic beach front. We went to the beach at Tifnit just as a fishing boat had returned with a catch of tuna. My wife and a french lady Rosamund were a little unsteady on their feet and I must say Rachid was a complete gentleman in how he assisted them both. When we arrived at Le Borj in the northern Sahara desert it was a joy to rush up the dunes to photograph the sunset and just enjoy the unspoilt location. The camp as expected is not 5 star luxury but it was amazing. The food served was first class. Eating and relaxing in this traditional setting was breathtaking. The clear desert sky was so clear we saw shooting stars and the milky way. After a restful night in the tent we had breakfast and began the return to Agadir. Stopping to see silversmiths at work in Tiznit, a delicious traditional Berber lunch. A visit to a dam and reservoir broke up the journey nicely. This was an unforgettable 60th birthday treat for my wife as she spent it under the stars in the Sahara with three very nice french people, Rachid our guide, the people running the camp and me. The hospitality and friendship we were treated with was 5 star. Thank you.
