Additional Information

Navagraha temples are sacred shrines dedicated to Navagraha, the nine primary celestial entities of Hindu astronomy. These beautiful structures, crafted from stone, pay homage to the celestial entities named Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Budha, Brihaspati, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, and Ketu.

The Six Abodes of Murugan, also known as Āṟupaṭai vīṭu in Tamil, refers to six temples located in Tamil Nadu, a southern state in India. The deity is revered under different monikers such as Kartikeya, Kanda, Vadivela, and Muruga in various shrines. The ‘Thirumurugatrupadai’, a renowned Tamil Sangam literature by Nakkeerar, and the ‘Thiruppugazh’ penned by Arunagirinathar, both mention these six sacred abodes. They include Palani, Thiruthani, Swamimalai, Pazhamudircholai, Thirupparankunram, and Thiruchendur.

A Well Planned Trip - We approached Deepak to plan our vacation with a lot of asks and requests. Deepak was tolerant, accommodative, prompt and very customer satisfaction oriented as he managed to answer all our questions and clarifications promptly. He was also able to advice us on some of the sight seeings or interesting places we should not miss. Whenever we have issues with our hotel room, Deepak immediately helped us to source for next alternative. For example, we requested a triple room and when hotel provided smaller rooms, he helped us by contacting the hotel and requested them to provide a better room for us. Next, our driver Surya was a humble and friendly guide too. He was patient and took us around to places and give us advices whenever we asked. We had a good stay and vacation overall. AIP should be your choice if you plan to visit India with your family.
