Discovering the Jujuy Province - The day before we had immersed ourselves in spectacular scenery starting from the Province of Salta and ending in Purmamarca. But we were even more amazed by what we discovered the next day with this tour. We visited the archaeological site of Tilcara, an ancient pre-Inca city...a world heritage site for historical and landscape reasons. We then came to the Hornocal which cannot be described in detail. The emotion that El cierro de los 14 colores gives can only be experienced and will remain forever in the heart of every traveler who has the chance to pass through it. Then we saw several small towns, among which Humahuaca and Maimarà stand out with the very famous Paleta del Pintor. The passage through the imaginary line of the Tropic of Capricorn is also exciting. Our guide Julio was exceptional. Professional but also very nice, he conveyed to us the pure spirit of the Argentine people of the north and above all he explained to us in detail and with a lot of spirituality the concept of Pachamama and its meaning for the indigenous populations who still honor it today despite Spanish evangelization. What can I say, an unforgettable experience that we will carry forever in our hearts.

Our trip guide took all the honors. - A true example of preparation and dedication, they brought us musical instruments, let us observe them and made music on them. The guide gave plenty of knowledge about the area

Tour takes all day and you pass on several villages along the way - We took this tour that lasted the whole day. We felt it was worth it as we had the opportunity to visit several villages along the way. They are villages surrounded by mountains and when you arrive you will notice that many have establishments specifically to sell souvenirs and gifts to tourists. On the one hand it was good because we stopped at several places and when we arrived at them they gave us the freedom to wander around a little. But on the other hand, because there were so many short stops (about 30 minutes), it meant that we didn't have time to do almost anything and we didn't really know what to do because we were afraid of going too far and being late getting back to the transport. Another positive point is the tour guide who told stories along the way. At the lunch stop, they took us to a specific restaurant along with the whole group. I paid around 12 thousand pesos for a dish with starter, main course and dessert. I purchased the tour on their website.

Breathtaking Views - Had a lovely day visiting to the north of Salta with absolutely incredible views. The colored mountains were breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting the small towns that had such amazing culture. Language barrier is very difficult if you only speak English but everyone is so kind and willing to help. It’s a very long day but well worth it!

Lovely trip, thanks to the other passengers - Was a great day out, seen lovely towns. The only downside was that we were put on the Spanish speaking bus so we had to rely on another passenger to tell us information, times, length of time we had in each location.

disappointing - Nordic Travel only informed us half a day in advance that our day tour could not take place due to too few participants on the tour. This seemed like something you already knew before... They asked if we could move our day tour or if we were interested in something else, but this was not the case. Unfortunately, we could not find an alternative due to our short stay at this location and we were expected that this tour would continue as usual.
