Interesting and good exercise - I took my family (husband and two girls, 7 and 3) on this tour with Rudy and Roger. Ernesto, the ruins guide, knew a lot about this place. It has a brutal sacrificial history, amazing views from the top of the pyramid and a fascinating story about a giant and his boulder. Try the mutated bumpy looking fruit hanging from the trees at the beginning of the walk, it tastes and feels like cake! Take lots of water and good shoes, there is a bit of uphill climbing and never turn your back on the walk down the pyramid steps! If you find yourself a bit sensitive to the area and feel a slight itch on your leg, rub a bit of the hot dry dirt, worked wonders for my daughter.
