Depart 8.00 am – Return 6:00 pm from your Te Anau accommodation. This tour is one hour longer than our Milford Day Tour.

Embark on this all-inclusive day trip to the breathtaking Milford Sound starting from Te Anau. You’ll journey down the stunning Milford Road, accompanied by engaging anecdotes and enriched by a wealth of local knowledge. It presents an opportunity to spot keas, seals, dolphins, and Fiordland crested penguin.

Indulge in a delightful morning tea featuring delicious date scones, tea, coffee, hot chocolate along with biscuits, and chocolates. Also a wonderful 20-minute stroll to the Chasm is part of the experience.

You are offered the stunning 30-minute trek to Milford Sound. The highlight is the Marian Cascade - a perpetual waterfall running off a glacial lake. To cap off your day, you’ll enjoy a two-hour sail on the renowned Milford Sound.

Great tour and guide - Brilliant day with this tour. It was a well paced tour where we got to stop often and see everything but not feel rushed or having to hustle. Tania was a great driver and really informative guide - she had so much information. Our day on tour was a highlight of our trip.

Wonderful day out! - Had a wonderful day tour with Tania driving and guiding us all the way to and from Milford Sound. Scenery was superb and Tania ensured we stopped at the perfect spots to take in the glorious scenery. Tania was very entertaining and the perfect tour guide. The lunch provided was excellent and very tasty! The cruise itself was breathtaking! Would highly recommend this company to do the Milford Sound day tour.

Highly recommended tour from Te Anau - We had John as our Guide on the day who was a great communicative leader on the day. Having the smaller bus enabled the group to mingle and park at many points within the National park to visit many spots larger busses could not. Was a great organised day leaving and returning to Te Aneu which I recommend staying at as it's a great place to visit. You can get an inner city bus from Queenstown or hire a car for the 2hr drive.

Unique small group journey to cruise terminal, a short but breathtaking cruise. Stunning natural environment… - Small group bus journey to Milford Sound with many stop to experience scenery and stretch legs, plus morning tea stop with breath taking view. Cruise portion is a larger group with comfortable seats/tables inside, multiple access to outside areas for stunning views of fiord mountain sides.

Great tour with Fiordland Tours - Superb small coach tour from Te Anau to Milford Sound,with a really great driver/tour guide (Tania). She explained about history of area and so much more. Many stops on way down to Milford Sound as well as on way back to see the wonderful scenery. On arrival at Milford Sound boarded The Milford Explorer for a two hour explore of the Sound which was also great.🤠

We had lovely sunny day and during May it wasn’t so busy, so we really enjoyed every minute. Extraordinary experience! - Absolutely amazing day! I’m very glad I took this tour, because as a driver you cannot enjoy scenic routes so much 😄And this was just spectacular. We had fantastic group of people, it was a lot of fun during the whole day and our guide Tania was just soo amazing! She told us thousands of interesting things not only about Te Anau and Milford Sound, such a clever and positive woman! She showed us so many beautiful places along the way…and Milford Sound? You have to experience it to understand this nature miracle! Stunning, jawdropping…🙏

Best way to see Milford- sit back and relax - So glad we chose this tour rather than self drive. Our guide Sacha picked us up at 8am from our accommodation in Te Anau. There were 12 on the tour. Bus was very comfortable. Sacha was a fantastic guide. Such a bundle of knowledge. Being a true local she could answer all our questions and taught us so much about Fiordland and NZ in general. We had lots of stops for photographs. The cruise was awesome. The lunch we bought with the tour was really good and plenty of it. Can’t rate Sacha highly enough, such a gem. Highly recommend!

Easy way to see the Sound - Our guide was Jono, who knew a lot about wildlife and gave a smooth ride from Te Anau to Milford Sound and back. We had cloudy, rainy weather which meant the sights weren't as clear but the sound was filled with active waterfalls (per our guide, potentially more than a thousand). The lunch was solid, good sandwich and glad it had some Whittaker's in there. There was also tea and biscuits on the boat. On the way back, we failed to catch a glimpse of a wild Kea but did see a Whio! Given most of our visit to New Zealand was a big road trip, it was nice to let someone else do the driving for a day.
