- Milford Sound - Departing from Te Anau, travel in a small group (maximum 15 people) along the scenic Milford Road through the heart of Fiordland National Park. Your local driver/guide will share their knowledge and entertaining stories along the may.
On reaching Milford Sound enjoy a 2-hour small boat cruise to the Tasman Sea. With excellent viewing opportunities and plenty of time to enjoy the waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife.
Exploring on foot with a walk in Fiordland is a must, even if it is only a few hundred meters. We stop often to ensure you won’t miss a thing!
Enjoy a series of short guided walks and scenic photo stops on the journey. Lots of opportunities are made for you to experience this natural wonderland with all your senses.
Hike in a the range of different environments, from lush forests to magnificent alpine areas carved by glaciers long ago and discover the native birds, such as the cheeky kea. We will tailor the day to the weather and seasonal highlights to ensure your day makes the most of this incredible world heritage area.

Take pleasure in a sociable, intimate group (limit of 15 individuals) day trip to Milford Sound from Te Anau, inclusive of a compact boat ride traversing the total expanse of the fjord and reaching the Tasman Sea. Our leisurely schedule guarantees ample chances for visitors to embark on brief hikes, take photos at rest-stops, and discover the area with the guidance of a nature expert.
- Please come dressed for all weather the tour operates in all weather conditions! A good rain coat and practical shoes are a must when traveling in Fiordland.
- Please bring any medication you may require during they day.
- Please note this tour departs from Te Anau, not Queenstown. Allow 2.5 hours to drive safely from Queenstown to Te Anau, find a park and meet at the central meeting point

Trips and Tramps - Excellent value and jam-packed with interesting information. - Andrew was the most informative guide. Learned heaps about a myriad of things as well as all things Kiwi. I felt extremely safe with his driving, particularly around some of the more hairy hairpin bends. Plenty of stops to have a short walk or take 'that great pic'. Lunch provided for eating on the cruise was a chicken wrap, sweet cakes and fruit. Couldn't fault anything - it was a great experience over many hours and excellent value for what we were provided.

Perfect! - Perfect weather, perfect views, perfect guided day!

Wonderful - Best tour company ever, great guide and driver, many extra small excursions, small group, no crowds, small boat with guide. And so much more. Highly recommended. Went far out into the Tasman Sea, where a group of dolphins picked us up and escorted us back into the Sound, diving and surfing our wake they had so much fun (as did we)

The only company to go with - An absolutely incredible day! Everything from start to finish was superb! Professional but with a real sense of a family run business. Communication prior was really clear, prompt pick up- no hanging around. Small mini bus- we were a group of 14 which made it a more personal experience. Mini bus was modern and really high quality. Our tour guide John was very knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about his work, the area and Milford Sounds. The boat trip itself was fantastic. We saw lots of other companies with crowded boats of over 60 people. Our boat had a max of 30 people which meant it was again, a really personalised and special experience. The walking part after the boat was a lovely way to explore more of the areas by foot. Lunch was great! Superb and a must do!

Milford sound cruise & walks from Te Anau - Wonderful trip, balanced with walking and the cruise the travelling time was perfect. Our guide Tamara was lovely, knowledgeable, friendly and professional, even managed to tee up a coffee stop for us. The tour group was also small in comparison to some larger bus & cruise groups tours.

Well worth it - A fantastic day out. Ross our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the local flora and fauna. The cruise was magnificent and the benefit of this tour was the smaller boat/group size, and the earlier cruise which avoided some of the crowds. Would definitely recommend!

Best tour on our trip! - Ro was an awesome guide - fun, kind, accomodating, and knowledgeable. She clearly had a true passion for the area that was infectious and made it fun to explore! The walks were easy, the cruise was delightful, and the photos were gorgeous!

Ideal Experience - This was the ideal way to visit Milford Sound and the surrounding area. Ro's expert information (and hilarious delivery) made for the perfect day out for my family (including my toddler and tweens). The stops en route to the boat (operated by Mitre) were varied and beautiful, with enough time and flexibility to enjoy each one.
