Additional Information

Let’s discuss Georgia’s position as the junction between the western and eastern worlds. Does it reflect more of European influence or does it embody age-old oriental customs? The origin of the intricately carved balconies - where do they stem from? What imprints have the Persian, Arab and Turkish occupations left behind? What was the impact of the Russian Empire on Georgia in the 19th century? Was it viewed as an occupation or as liberation from the Ottoman Empire? What’s the current state of affairs in the country?

Location
Orbeliani Baths
Abano Street
31 Abano Str. This is in the bath's district called Abanotubani. You will see this beautiful blue building from far away (look at one of my pictures please). Its looks a little bit like a mosque, oriental style.
