Unbelievable - Food tour with a local family is a wonderful experience you can ever have in Tbilisi, I'd recommend to anyone who wants to immerse in Georgia cuisine. Our guide Patti was amazing, super friendly and always explaining how to prepare the local dishes along with the local family. After the cooking was done, was time to eat everything, besides the food we had wine and chacha and a beautiful dinner and great conversation with Patti. Best wishes Patti!

One of a kind experience! - Super loved this experience! So blessed to have Salome as our tour guide, she’s such a bliss to spend time with, very genuine personality, love her to bits! My fave tour guide this trip! And the host was also very awesome. We did it at a local house so it’s an additional great experience on top of the cooking. We made Khinkali, Khachapuri, Eggplants with walnut, and the cornbread! We have a fun bunch, made it even memorable! 100% recommend this for kids, couples, family, solos, everyone would definitely enjoy this! And hope you’ll get Salome!

A food tour to remember - I found this food tour while looking for things to do in Tbilisi, and saw Gamarjoba Tours had great reviews. They did not disappoint - they were very organised from the get go, sending clear directions to the meeting spot and asking about food allergies. A local woman invited us to her home to cook four different Georgian dishes. While we cooked, she and our guide, Ungo (Nini), told us about the food, the ingredients, and Georgian traditions. I was traveling by myself, but the group was extremely friendly and welcoming! We also got to try local wine and cha cha, and learned about Georgian toasting. It was a lot of fun and a good way to learn about the culture. Everyone was open and shared their stories and life experiences, which made the evening really special. Our tour guide, Ungo, was fantastic. She made sure we all knew what we were doing and translated for our host. The food was amazing, and they taught us so it felt like we could actually make it at home. Plus, we got pictures from the tour sent to us afterward, which was a nice touch. Overall this one of the best things I did in Tbilisi. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about Georgian cooking and culture. Make sure to come hungry - there is a lot of food! You'll get to take any leftovers home with you. A big thanks to Gamarjoba Tours, our host, and tour guide Ungo for a memorable evening. :)

An Amazing experience with lovely Ungo(NINA)❤️. - I only was in Tbilisi for less than two days, which made it hard to find the best tour for me since I didn't have much time. But I'm happy that I chose this one. It was one of the best experiences of my life. (Especially if you like cooking). The most important thing is that it's not what you are doing; it's about doing it with whom. Nina(Ungo❤️) was 10 of 10, and she made all things complete.

Food Tour - I recently took the food cooking and tasting tour , and it was an absolute delight. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable I can't express enough appreciation for Nina. Her passion for the subject matter shone through, making the tour not only informative but also incredibly enjoyable. Nina went above and beyond to accommodate questions, share fascinating anecdotes, and create a warm, inclusive atmosphere. Her enthusiasm was contagious, making the entire group feel like we were on a journey with a knowledgeable friend. I'm grateful for such a fantastic guide and the unforgettable experience they provided.

Best Experience! - We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Nika who introduced us to the delicious Georgian Food. We are so glad to have chosen this tour as it gave much insight on the Georgian culture and how real households look like. Our favorite food was the walnut wrapped in eggplant! Highly recommend this to all foodies and for anyone who likes to experience different cultures. Thank you Gamarjoba tours and Lika for the hassle less planning and coordination.

Special local cooking class experience - I had a fantastic experience last night doing the local food cooking class, I have done quite a few cooking classes in different countries and this was truly one of the best! I felt very welcome by the local host in her home and with my guide was also fantastic with his translation. I was very involved in the cooking process and at the end really felt like I had made the food which is a special feeling. At the end being able to enjoy the beautiful fresh local food we had just made along with some wine and music in the background really made the whole experience complete! If you love cooking and want to immerse yourself in the local culture I really recommend this tour!
