Incredible - Fantastic tour…!! Wine, Brandy, Chacha… Just incredible! 10 hours valuably spent! The lunch was also the best we have had in the last few days in Georgia - modest but original. Absolutely worth your buck!

Tasting Our Way Through Georgia Wine Country with Select Georgia! - My friend and I just got back from our holiday to Georgia with Select Georgia, and we had the most fantastic time! We both love wine (living vey close to Napa Valley in San Francisco), and so we were very excited to learn all about Georgian wine making method, and taste our way through Georgian wine country. We visited KTW Wine Factory where we were able to sample over 6 different kinds of locally made wine, AND brandy! We also took a tour of Kvareli Tunnel, and met Qvevri Master and learned all about the 8,000 year old Qvevri method of wine making! Finally, at the end of our day, we checked into our Wine Spa and Resort in Kakheti Wine region where we treated ourselves to a wine bath. Once in a lifetime experience for wine lovers! Thank you Giorgi or Select Georgia for making this possible for us.

Great way to learn about qvevri wine making - We had a jammed pack day and wanted to spend more time at the wine tunnel but rushed to our next stop before it closed. The visit at a Qvevri master's house was very fun, and the master explains in detail how the vessel is made from start to finish.

The best wine tour!! - What a great tour! We got to see all the highlights of Georgia's wine-making region Kakheti. Giorgi makes sure you see all the best sites, in the best order (starting at the museum). The tours are a great mix of traditional vineyards and more modern wine factories. I learned so much about wine and Georgian culture. One of the best days I spent in Georgia. Plus the wine is all delicious!

Must see day trip from Tbilisi - Giorgi is a fantastic guide and will help customize a tour to your specific needs in Kakheti. His knowledge of Georgia, the region, and Georgian wines is impeccable and he speaks fluent English. Will be recommending the tour to any family or friends who might visit the country in the future.

Sights, culture and everything else - One of the best tours I have ever had! the knowledge of the tour guide was unparalleled, he constantly asked if I wanted to visit extra places that we drove past during the trip between the main stops. This was great as I got to see alot of places you usually you don't have the chance to visit. I think during this tour I experienced more Georgian culture than I have in the past week in Tbilisi, therefore I can't recommend it enough. On an extra note the wine portions are more than generous if you understand what I'm saying.

A MUST VISIT IN GEORGIA - This is one of the highlight of my Georgian Trip-Kakheti Wine Tour – Cradle of Wine to explore the first wine-making region of the world. I visited the Award winning wineries and try the best of their wines with the help of my guide, Giorgi Lomidze. We did explore the city of Love & Gremi Fortress after. We did enjoy an authentic lunch in a local Georgian cusine. Our driver will meet us at our hotel in Tiblisi and begin the Kakheti wine tour in full day. The trip was enjoyable and relaxing at our timing. We had a few stop on our trip for snacks and coffee break. Our first stop will be in the roadside village Badiauri, where we’ll see how they bake the Georgian bread and try it with homemade cheese. Next up is Sighnaghi – the tuscany of Georgia where we’ll enjoy the amazing views of the Alazani valley. This reminds me of Italian Small town which is charming and cozy. The weather is perfect for walking. Afterwards we head to the Numisi family winery to try their wines and Chacha! For more wine magic, we head to the Kindzmarauli award winning winery, where we’ll look at the factory and taste some of the Delicious Georgian wines. Later, we’ll stop at a local family where we’ll also have a glass of local vintage and a traditional lunch cooked especially for us! Our last stop of the day is Gremi, the 16th century citadel of a medieval city which till this day overlooks the area with true Georgian temper. Afterwards, we’ll return to Tbilisi driving through the breathtaking Gombori Pass. Finally, Our driver will drop you off at your hotel after the tour. This will conclude the Kakheti Wine Tour. Highly recommended, we brought two bottled of wines as out souvenir. I would personally recommend this trip for full day. Just prepare a lightweight breathable clothes and comfortable shoes😌
