Great fun, interesting and rewarding. - Great fun, a beautiful catamaran and excellent crew. The outward bound trip, into a strong headwind and 1m waves was bouncy and fun. The view of the rock carvings and the return voyage (under sail) were very smooth and relaxing. The opportunity to swim in the lake was great fun ( for those of us brave enough to jump!). Overall an excellent day and good value.

Highly recommend this amazing experience for ALL - Beautiful day soaking in the sun and some drinks. Views amazing, our guides were really hospitable. The beautiful swim stop. The morning is really good because we didn’t have any other tours at the same spot crowding the area.

A good cruise with a good crew would highly recommend it! - We have previously been to Taupo but had never experienced a trip on the lake itself. We were really lucky when we went as the water conditions on the lake were really calm. The design of the vessel really helped make our mind up as it was a stable design along with toilet facilities. The trip was really good and informative with commentary periodically. Our comfort on the boat was really good, we chose to sit on the front to experience the views. The boat wasn’t full as we did an afternoon cruise and couldn’t really comment on comfort if it were busier. The crew looked after us with pizza and access to drinks for those who wanted them. We got a really close up view of the Māori carvings and a good explanation of its features. The skipper of the boat was happy to field questions and answer them as honestly as he could. We were able to drop anchor and have a good swim in the lake for a suitable length of time - no time pressure at all.

A perfect way to experience Lake Taupo - Wonderful weather for sightseeing. Lovely views on the catamaran ride across the lake to the Māori carving (newish) which the tour host explained well. Comfortable boat; coffee, tea annd biscuits offered. Alas no wind, tho the skipper tried his best to find some, so it was motoring all the way! A very enjoyable morning!
