What a fantastic tour! - We had a fantastic day on the Etna and Godfather tour with Omar! I highly recommend this tour. Omar was a wonderful guide - so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The car was comfortable and having our own guide enabled us to see so many sights flexibly and with ease. After pick-up from our hotel we headed to Etna and opted to take the cable car up to the top of Etna with combined bus tour. This cost €69 each but was well worth it. It did take 2 1/2 hours, so does cut into your day, so bear that in mind. After the Etna tour we headed for wine, honey, olive oil etc tastings. We then made our way to Savoca where we enjoyed a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. The meal consisted of antipasta, pasta Norma, a lemon sorbet dessert, along with wine and water. You have the choice of drinks which is all included in the price. The view was spectacular over looking Savoca. We then headed into the town for our Godfather tour. Omar knew so many facts and unknown details about the filming, and we were fascinated to hear all about the history of the Mafia in Sicily too. It was very surreal to see so many of the filming locations in person! From there we were dropped back off at the hotel. Do not hesitate booking this tour, it is worth every penny and enables you to see and learn so much about the island. Thank you again Omar!

Great Tour. - It was overcast when we started up to Mt Etna and arrived in time for a few photos at some of the craters but couldn't go further because of fog and rain moving in. Guide was great (a geology student so we talked a lot about the different lava flows.) When we needed an extra step for the van, the guide borrowed a large rock from the mountain that gave helped one of our travelers who had bad knees to climb into van. Lunch was authentic. And we loved seeing the church, square and Bar Vinito where Godfather was filmed.

Absolutely the best company, tour guide and way to spend a day in Sicily! - We absolutely loved this tour! The owner, Pasquale made us feel like we were the only people in the world that mattered, bending over backwards to be sure everything was perfect from the moment our tour began. He even came to visit us at lunch and gifted us a bottle of wine to make up for a very minor mix up, which he was far more upset about than we were! Omar, our tour guide- (turned lifelong friend) made our day so much fun and special. His love and knowledge of Sicily was contagious. He took us to a secret cave and then onto Mt. Etna which was amazing! Pro-tip: be sure to wear good shoes with some traction and don’t wear anything fancy you don’t want getting dusty. The views are 100% worth the climb, which isn’t hard when you take you’re time. I saw kids and 80 year olds walking the trails. It feels like you’re walking on the surface of the moon! Etna was spewing lava the whole time we were in Sicily but the tour was still possible because we were far from the eruption. If you’re a Godfather fan, you will love the town of Savona. It’s a beautiful walkable little town with Bar Vitelli and the church as center stage. We stopped for cannolis and espressos. Omar took videos and pictures anytime we asked…and sometimes when we didn’t haha. We had a beautiful food and wine tasting overlooking this beautiful town with the sweetest Italian owner who didn’t speak any English but easily conveyed her love of food and our company. We had our first taste of lemon granita and OMG it was amazing!! Everything was delicious and the view was unbeatable. Along the way we were able to stop to taste and buy good quality honey and olive oil (soooo cheap!) You can tailor your trip as able since we had some extra time Omar took us to a beautiful beach with black volcanic sand where we basked in the sun while eating gelato and falling in love with Sicily. Honestly one of the very best days we spent in Sicily. We saw so much we wouldn’t have seen without this tour. Omar and Pasquale, we love you both and we will be back…you’ve been warned 🤣🤣

Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide. - A really fun day with a very knowledgeable and witty guide, Omar. The weather on Etna was against us but we had a thoroughly enjoyable day regardless with many laughs. Savoca is a must for Godfather fans. We hope to go back to Etna with Omar again one day.

Tour of Etna, Alcantara and Godfather - brilliant day all round - Bruno our tour guide was lovely, informative, funny, charming and a very good and careful driver. Etna was amazing and we learned a lot from Bruno, then on to Alcantara Gorge where we could spend what time we wanted there. At no time did we feel rushed or pressured. Then on for food and to Savoca,, again told a lot about the village and where the film was made. Lovely food at a lovely traditional Sicilian restaurant overlooking Savoca - amazing scenery. Everyone was lovely and friendly and did honey and wine tasting too. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone going to Taormina. Thank you Bruno.
