Highlights
- Kilimanjaro National Park - Our guides will arrive at the hotel in the morning to meet you and hold a quick briefing, after which you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro National Park’s eastern entrance: Marangu Gate (1,860 m/6,046 f)). After the quick formality of registering the climbing permits and registering with the rescue service, the group will start trekking up to Mandara Hut (2,700 m/8,858 ft ). The trekking route includes a passage through the rainforest where tropical showers are highly probable, so we recommend taking raincoats.
When you reach the camp, you will be provided with lunch-boxes.
After lunch you can take a hike to the beautiful Maundi Crater nearby. It will take about 30 minutes, after which you will start your descent down to the exit of the park - Marangu gate. There our driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel in the town of Moshi.

If you are not quite sure whether you are ready for a full Kilimanjaro adventure, you might want to take one of our shorter Kilimanjaro trips via Marangu route. Only one day on the mountain will be enough to give you a full picture of what it takes to be part of a Kilimanjaro trekking expedition.
This adventure is perfect if you travel with children who are not ready for the full hike yet, or if your holiday is too short but you still want to enjoy the trip.
A one-day Kilimanjaro trip leads you up to Mandara Hut and back to the entry gate.

The trip must do - Without a doubt the most incredible experience we have ever had. The panoramic views of the mountain were unmatched, the experience was topnotch. Literally all our dreams came true during this unforgettable trip. Everything was arranged so well, the places we stayed exceeded all our expectations and we have never met such friendly people. A huge thank you to Innocent for making our Day such a success. He made sure all was taken care of, everyone was happy and that we reached Mandara hut the which was the final point of our hike. Another special thanks goes to our humble guide Zeno, he made sure everything went perfect during our hike from the start to the end. Would recommend Kanje grand tours and Zeno our guide to my Family and friends.

What can I say? Just incredible - The trip was amazing. Very informative tour. We liked our mountain guide John very much, very professional and knowledgeable. Very good organized hotel pick up and drop off. Transportation was very comfortable. The food on the mountain was very delicious, we liked it a lot. The places to stay was very nice. Definitely will recommend to everybody who wants to do this kind of activity. Will come again for sure.

Wonderful trip - I did s day hike Marangu Route to Kilimanjaro. My guide was John, the best guide in the world. He took care of me and made my climb kili safely with greaaat success. So happy.
