Highlights
  • Tafraoute - Tafrout is a small Berber city in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas. The city is located in the heart of the Ammelne Valley, approx. 180 km south of Agadir, in the middle of an impressive granite landscape

We drive through the Anti-Atlas in a four-wheel drive vehicle and have breathtaking views of spectacular valleys and small villages.
We will take a look at the palm oasis and the surroundings of Tafraout. The huge, painted granite blocks - by the Belgian artist Jean Verame in the early 80s - are impressive.
We drive past the “Lions Head”, a rock formation in which a lion’s head can be recognized.
In a nearby town, visit a traditional Berber household, which is now run as a museum
After lunch we follow the winding road through the anti-atlas towards Tiznit. On the way we always see almond trees and oases that accompany us to the goal. In TIznit, known for the “blue spring” and its 6 km long city wall, we will make a short stop to get to know this beautiful city with its medina, squares and shops.
After a day, with many impressions from the Anti-Atlas, you will be satisfied and will return to your hotel.

Super great trip in and around Agadir - We did our day trip with Ibrahim. He spoke very good German, which we had booked in advance. Everything worked out wonderfully. We were there with the Mein Schiff 1. We were also picked up directly from the ship in Agadir and brought back again. Everything is highly recommended. And the price-performance ratio was great. Thank you again. I can only recommend it

Great trip around Morocco - Safety, peace, culture, sense of humor, knowledge of foreign languages, extensive knowledge of the country's history, guessing and meeting the needs of the group are Ibrahim's main advantages. Thanks to him, we learned about the beauty of Africa, the life of the inhabitants, the flavors of the cuisine and the appearance of their houses. Thank you Ibrahim for the opportunity to visit the Atlas Mountains, interesting cities passed on the way to Agadir, for a nice stay at a hotel in the heart of Tafraout, for shopping at local markets, and for personal meetings with the inhabitants of the mountains. It was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime. Ibrahim is a great guide who perfectly understands the needs of clients regardless of age. I highly recommend all his trips :)

Amazing Day out to Tafraout - This is a 10/10 amazing trip, it was by far the highlight of our entire stay in Morocco. Ibrahim is a very good guide, and he showed us Morocco from an entirely different perspective. We had many stops for tea, lunch etc in little restaurants and places with beautiful scenery. Ibrahim went above and beyond for us and even took us to the Yussuf Bin Tachfine dam, which was very beautiful. We were picked up at 7:30 AM, and I recommend to choose this time, as the trip will last the entire day (we arrived back at our hotel when it was dark, around 8/9PM). We saw the beautiful painted rocks, got to explore the town of Tafroute (which was a very beautiful, quiet and peaceful town) and even stopped at a roadside Tajine shop ran by a friendly Berber man who sold us two huge bags of tea, a Tajine (with accessories) and some spices for only 66DH (£5.22, 6 Euro for all these items). We drove for a long time on small roads on the sides of mountains, and saw a lot of beautiful scenery, and even a cool abandoned village (picture attached). Overall, this was an amazing trip and I would recommend it to everyone, Ibrahim is an amazing guide, Thank you very much
