The Beach is a natural feature that was formed by the melting and sculpting of icebergs as they washed ashore. Nonetheless, the beach has become a popular tourist destination and is now equipped with a parking lot and an observation platform.

Our tour guide was Sam,... - Our tour guide was Sam, and he did a fantastic job ensuring that we saw as much as possible despite the limited sunlight in Iceland in January. Sam reached out the night before to introduce himself, providing us with his contact information for pickup. The tour was lengthy, but Sam made sure we took as many stops as needed to ensure our comfort. He answered all our questions and remained engaging throughout the tour. I would highly recommend him and this tour to others. We were a group of seven, and found this tour to be a great value compared to large group tours with similar itineraries.
