Additional Information

Initialized by my canine companion, Molly, and myself, Freedom Tour Today is designed to extend a warm embrace to visitors at Stirling, expressing gratitude to those who choose to remember the heroes who sacrificed, battled, and survived the Battle of Stirling Bridge.

The astonishing number of tourists unacquainted with Wallace’s significant triumph at Stirling Bridge (absent in Braveheart) never fails to surprise me. Trek along the tracks taken by William Wallace and Andrew De Moray in their youth and revisit the Battle at its original location. Our dialogue will cover the prelude to the Battle, the key figures involved, as well as ongoing efforts to honor the Battle’s historical significance.

Additionally, we also offer a tour of Bannockburn Battlefield, showcasing Robert the Bruce’s most notable victory.

Freedom Tour Today serves as a heartfelt way for Molly and myself to usher in visitors, giving them an insight into why these historical landmarks and Scotland hold such profound significance to countless people. We thank you in advance.

Living history in Stirling - While it was just me, Steven nontheless accompanied me for a great time at the Old Stirling Bridge. Not only did he bring a lot of history, but fun anecdotes and stories from his own life that were great to hear. It is clear Steven cares not just for the history of his country but sharing it with others as a living thing. Very happy and thankful for this tour.

Loved it 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 - AMAZING! I did this tour and the Battle of Bannockburn! Both were amazing and was about 3 hours total for both combined! You will learn so much about each Battle in the tours! I would definitely say if you do both, do this tour first then the battle of bannockburn as the battle of stirling came first and some of the people he mentions in the stirling battle tour are again mentioned in the Bannockburn tour!

Just brilliant. - Steve’s knowledge of The Stirling Bridge Battle is astounding. He sets the scene and creates an experience you won’t forget. He debunks all the incorrect tales, especially all the Braveheart lies.
