We recently had the pleasure of booking a charter with Shades of Blue out of St. Thomas, and it was an experience we will never forget. From start to finish, our trip was absolutely perfect. Our captain, Mike was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to all the best snorkeling spots. The vibrant marine life and crystal-clear waters made for an unforgettable underwater adventure. We felt like we were swimming in a tropical paradise. In addition to the snorkeling, our captain also recommended and took us to some fantastic local restaurants. The food was delicious, and it was great to experience some local flavors. The level of accommodation and attention to detail provided by Shades of Blue was outstanding. Every aspect of the trip was tailored to ensure we had the best time possible. Mike was friendly, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make our day special. This was undoubtedly the best trip of our lives, and we owe it all to Shades of Blue Charter Boat Company. My family had a great day on the water with Captain Tim. He was super knowledgeable about the islands and brought us to a number of amazing spots for snorkeling, swimming, sightseeing, and lunch. Amazing 32’ Worldcat that could handle a variety of conditions. What really stood out with Captain Tim was how he welcomed my small children (9,7,4) and made sure they had a great time despite being a bit hesitant with their first time snorkeling. By the end of the day, they were as happy as I’ve seen them exploring a sunken ship, pointing out different types of fish, and swimming with turtles. This was an experience my kids will never forget and we look forward to another excursion on our next visit. Highly recommended!
