Wonderful time!!! - Eating mangoes at a little roadside stop along the way! Sampling the liqueurs and the tour guide Samuel was very informative.

An excellent introduction to Saint Lucia - An excellent introduction to Saint Lucia. Our guide George was entertaining and very knowledgable. The views of the Pitons, the volcano and the Botanical Gardens were highlights. Georges knowledge of plants and their uses made the gardens visit particularly enjoyable

Don't miss this gem! - We spent the most amazing time with our guide, Sammie. He was absolutely brilliant and really provided both an education, and entertainment about the history and amazing beauty of St Lucia. This tour is a must!

Great Trip - We had a great tour with Stan who was very knowledgeable. On this trip we went through Castries. Saw how bananas are grown and had lots of photo stops on route to Soufriere & different views of the Pitons. The Botanical gardens & Waterfall were lovely. Thank you Stan for making it a interesting trip.

Wonderful introduction to a beautiful island - We disembarked our cruise ship at Castries and soon found the Barefoot rep in a red t-shirt and with a name board. There were 6 of us and our driver/guide Samuel in a comfortable air-conditioned van - us from our ship, a couple from another cruise ship and a couple from a hotel. Samuel was very knowledgeable and interesting, but our big test was his quiz on the way back! We set off at 8.45 am and were back at the dock at 2.30 pm - slightly longer than the advertised 5 hours. We spent time in Castries before heading up the hill past the Governor-General's mansion to the university, where we saw the calabash tree with its huge green pod. We stopped at a roadside stall in a banana plantation - prices were quite similar anywhere we visited on the island. The road to Soufriere soon becomes very (very!) windy and we stopped at a few viewpoints of the Gros and Petit Pitons. Entry and walking tour of the "drive-in volcano" was included in our tour price. At the Botanical Gardens Diamond Falls, entry was included but the first thing that was pointed out to us was a big sign advising us to tip the volunteer guide at the end of the tour - no problems as June was very friendly and shared her knowledge well. The gardens were beautiful and well worth seeing. There were a few more scenery stops on the way back to Castries. The tour was well organised, informative and enjoyable. The cost of the tour was US$78 each and it was a great introduction to St Lucia.

Magical Soufriere tour - Picked up by Sammy (Davis) at the port. He is very friendly and has a wealth of information. We stopped at great picture spots like the view of the Pitons , and saw several fishing villages and saw pineapples, bananas, avocados, cashews and guava growing wild. We stopped at a local vendor and tasted homemade items. We had a tour guide at the Morne Coubaril Estate and the drive in volcano. Sammy knows everyone! Only negatives is that you do not see any of the islands beaches and we did not stop for lunch(bring a snack). Not sure what happened, but this tour did not take us to the waterfall.

Great half day tour - Samuel our guide and driver picked us up on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the views were stunning. Could have had more time in the botanical gardens which were beautiful.

Trip worth doing - Great trip with a very knowledgeable guide called George. There were only 6 people on the tour which made it a bit more personal. Drive through the islands banana plantations & rainforest to reach our destinations. We got to tour the volcano springs with an interesting commentary from a local expert. My only reason for not giving a 5 star review was that I would've liked longer to visit the botanical gardens.
