Great tour - Great experience… Uzungol is beautiful.. nature is incredible.. we asked our guide to pick us up from the airport and drop us in the hotel with our 4 luggages.. he was very helpful and agreed.. in general I recommend this tour.. it is a must when traveling to Trabzon!

Best experience with Zenofon!! - I went on three tours (Sumela Monastery, Uzungol and Ayden) with Zenofon in the span of three days and I had the most amazing time. The people (Mr. Taner and others) who are running the tours are truly the best and they make sure that you are having a good time! A Perfect Day Trip to Uzungol - While taking a long weekend in Trabzon, Turkey, I decided to take a day trip to Uzungol in the mountains just south of the Black Sea. I used Zenofan Tours for my private tour and was very lucky to have Atakan as my guide. He arrived at my hotel early. The van was clean and comfortable. It was hot and humid outside and the AC worked perfectly. He also brought a cooler of cold water. The region has a rich climate and is perfect for agriculture. Tea is grown on the mountainsides and corn and hazelnuts grow side by side. Atakan took me to see a tea facility, waterfalls, the lake, a sweet museum that has wood sculptures and a small collection of historical life objects spanning from the Ottoman empire to modern life in Turkey. We stopped for lunch at a roadside stand and had kuymak, a traditional Turkish dish made with cheese and a criminal amount of butter. It's a bit thicker than fondue, but so delicious. We also had gozleme, and tea. The stand sold honey produced in the region - it is liquid gold, I bought several jars to bring home as gifts. The area is rich with traditions and history and Atakan spoke of so many of them. His English is very good and it made for a relaxed and informal trip. I didn't feel like I was taking a class, but I walked away with so much interesting information. I would encourage anyone interested in the tour to absolutely take it, and request Atakan if he is available, he made the trip a real joy.

An amazing trip - Ozungul is an amazing place , highly recommended, my trip was Zenofon trip operater, the trip went as planned the guide was very cooperative and friendly.
