Udawalawe National Park - Make your way to the gate of Udawalawe National Park, where you’ll meet up with your private guide. Climb into a sturdy 4x4 vehicle, which gives access to all the rugged areas of the park and offers clear views of the animals.
One of Sri Lanka’s largest parks, Udawalawe is known for its large Asian elephant population, which can number up to 100 in a single herd. Other animals in the park include jungle cats, fishing cats, gray hangers, toque macaque, foxes, bandicoots, mongooses, jackals, wild boar, and water buffalo, among others. Learn about the wildlife and ecosystem from your guide along the journey.
Morning or afternoon departure options let you choose your own itinerary to fit your vacation schedule. A private guide means you and your party will receive personalized attention and have plenty of time to ask questions.

Great experience - The trip was amazing. We started early in the morning and got to see incredible wild life including elephant herds, foxes and birds. Our driver Sumudu was very knowledgable and put lots of efforts to make sure we spot the wildlife and have enough time to watch and take pictures. It was a great experience.
Entry tickets were not included in the price though, we had to buy them separately

A magical day - We had the most amazing day with our safari driver and tour guide, Guyan (sorry if spelt wrong!). He went out of his way to get us the best views in the park - we saw so many elephants and other animals - it was a truly special day. He also gave us lots of interesting information about the animals as we approached them. We were picked up from our nearby hotel and also dropped off again after…thank you so much for making it such an incredible experience!!

Quick, Professional and Safe - Everything was organized quickly and professionally. Our driver was friendly and good at his job. All in all a great experience. He also knows alot about the wildlife but as the driver cabin is closed off to the passenger seat it makes communication difficult. So if you wanna have someone in the car you can easily book a local national park guide at that moment. I will definitely book again if i am back in Sri Lanka

Jeep Safari - Got picked up on time and had a smooth ride out to the National Park. Gayan was a great driver and was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. We saw lots of wildlife including multiple bird species, water buffalo, elephants, crocs, spotted deer, etc.
Trip as a whole was very enjoyable and stress free. Would recommend.

Excellent animal spotting! - I had a great trip to Udawalawe with this tour. The driver was so impressive in spotting wildlife that I for sure would have missed. He noticed a chameleon in a tree as we were driving by and pointed out loads of birds. I also got to see many elephants, monkeys, a crocodile, dancing peacocks, and more. A great deal -- highly recommend!

Very worth while, and value for money - We thoroughly enjoyed our safari. A park guide joined us and between him and our driver they spotted every bit of wild life along the trip. Great trip.

Amazing safari - Great service, picked up from hotel and entrance to safari with a very knowledgeable jeep guide.

Brilliant time with lots of wildlife - We had a brilliant experience with Udawala full day tours. Many elephants (often coming very close), eagles, jackles, mongeese and more. Recommend if you're after a full day in Udawalawe.
