- Plitvice Lakes National Park - Plitvice are known as a natural phenomenon because they keep changing through sedimentation of calcium carbonate and create special kinds of algae and moss, tufa or travertine which has been deposited and is still deposited to form the natural dams that separate the lakes. Since the process is ongoing today, just as it always has, new travertine barriers, curtains, stalactites, channels, and cascades are built as the existing ones keep changing. So it doesn’t matter if you have visited the lakes before, they probably look different now, so you can visit them again and never be bored. Besides the lakes, there are some interesting caves in which remains of prehistoric settlements have been found.

- Here are few items you may need to make your time on the excursion the best of all: closed comfortable shoes (sneakers), sportswear, In case of rain raincoat or an umbrella. After summer time we recommend to bring also a warm sweater or jacket.

Plitvice Lakes with Vice - Well-organized tour with lots of time to explore the park, but also frequent food and bathroom breaks both during the bus ride and in the park. The guide, Vice, was an absolute gem throughout the whole trip. 100% recommend, the park is gorgeous!

Amazing park experience - Plitvice National Park with Sonja from Booker
Had an amazing day visiting the very beautiful Plitvice with our tour guide Sonja. The park has unbelievable views throughout the hike. Our guide Sanja was a really informative and vastly entertaining guide. Learned a lot about both the history of the lakes and how they formed.

Best highlight of our trip to Split, Croatia! - Plitvice Lakes must be hands-down on top of your itinerary list if you ever plan a trip to Croatia! Absolutely recommend for mesmerizing landscapes, breathtakingly clear and colorful water, and a lung-happy trek around the National Park that will leave you amazed.
We booked a guided tour with the Booker Agency in Split and were escorted around the Park by the super funny and engaging tour guide Sanja. This trip wouldn't have been complete without the historical anecdotes, interesting facts, and quirky remarks. We definitely got more than we asked for! Thank you Sanja, thank you Booker Agency, thank you Croatia!! :)

A great day at Plitvice Lake with Vice! - We had a wonderful tour to Plitvice Lake with Vice. The tour was well organized and Vice was informative. He gave us background and introduction into the tour, and remained informative throughout via WhatsApp. Vice was patience and accommodating. We knew what to expect every step of the way, never worried about being lost in the massive crowd of tourists. Highly recommend the tour. Wear comfy shoes and dress light.

Fantastic tour of Plitvice! - Booked a group tour of Plitvice National Park and would highly recommend! Although it’s a long bus journey, it is absolutely worth it. Unbelievably beautiful scenery - I’ve never seen water so clear and SO blue at the same time!! Our guide Sanja was lovely, she provided interesting information throughout the day and regularly offered to take photos for everyone to capture those special memories 🫶🏻!
