If in Split do a cooking class! - Had a fun cultural cooking class and city tour with our new friend Tanya, learning about Dalmatian cooking and Split culture. Met a stranger but with her friendly beautiful smile and joyful presence we left Split with a new friend.

Incredible Experience-Food/Wine - Ok…today’s experience was soooo great. Tanja was so nice and showed how to make 5 courses of meals. Explained, had us help, and then served at the end. We were with her for 5 hours. Toured and explained Green Market, Fish Market and walked through palace with some history thrown in. Then we went to her 5th floor walk up with view of sea. All served on her patio with wonderful breezes. I would highly highly recommend this tour. one girl said it was her favorite day so far!!!!

An Amazing Cooking Class experience…Not to be missed! - Always searching for something unique while traveling, this Cooking Class was definitely a top highlight. Tatjana is Amazing! She’s so warm and welcoming that her passion for food, cooking & history overflowed as we prepared our 5+ course meal together; as did our glasses of varieties of wine and Dalmatian liquor. From appetizers, prosciutto in wine sauce, shrimp pâté, shrimp pasta, polenta, to stewed figs w/ ice cream…our time together flew by in an instant, as though we had known each other for years. As an extra bonus, all the recipes were directly from her own cookbook! So bring along a few euros so you can easily enjoy & remember these tastes from Tatjana! I recommend this Cooking Class 100%!

Fun and yummy way to be in a new place. - Tanya was very friendly and easy to be around. We walked the green market and then headed back her place using the back streets away from the crowds. Prepared Four dishes and an dessert all excellent.

No better place to go to learn about Dalmatian cuisine - Tanja is an amazing host, teacher and cook. From the second we all met in the Green Market, she was sure to speak in detail about the history and food of both Croatia and Split. We tired fresh produce, ate some sweets and then headed back to Tanja’s home for an amazing multi coursed meal on her terrace. Together we chopped and cooked for our delicious lunch all while sipping on wine. Tanja walked us through each step and answered all of our questions. After the meal, many of us took home her amazing cook book as we were hooked on the Dalmatian way of cooking! Thank you so much Tanja for your hospitality - I will be back!

Wonderful experience - We had a private cooking lesson which was delightful as well as was our host. Tatjani was fun and made the day full of memories. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Highly recommend! - It was so fun to spend time with Tatjana! Tatjana is charismatics and passionate about the food. And this tour was actually started before we met her in person. Before we arrived Split, Tatjana already gave us information about Split and recommendations for gastronomy. We visited a couple of those recommendations and they are all stellar.

A wonderful personal experience - My wife Emily and I spent 2 weeks traveling Europe with stops in multiple countries, and our day with Tanya was easily the highlight of the trip. She made the experience learning about Croatian cuisine special and personal. We feel so lucky to have spent a day with her and will definitely be back!

Dalmatian delights - We met Tatjana at the green market ahead of our class. It was easy to find as it was right next to the 'silver gate' of Diocesan's Palace. She took us all around the market and Palace to tell us the best places to buy produce to make the dishes and also do some food tasting at the market, bakeries and the fish market too! We went back to her balcony and started to make some nice dishes. We made prosciutto in red wine, shrimp patê, shrimp pasta, polenta, and stewed figs with ice cream! All this turned out great, and I was very happy with how our meals turned out! We were also treated to 2 or 3 variations of wine, sweet wine & Dalmatian liqueur. After this, we all chatted over the meal and wine for the next hour or so, as if we had known each other for years! What an awesome day! I would recommend this tour 100%

Wonderful cooking class experience! - Loved our cooking class with Tanya! She couldn’t have been more delightful! Started out in the green market. She has vast knowledge of Split and Croatian history. Not only was it a cooking class but a great walking tour of the market and palace. Then on to her patio apartment that overlooks the sea. It was beautiful. Great food and a wonderful experience!!
