Time well spent - Time spent with Mariela is always fun. She knows gourmet, she knows Sofia, she is sexy and clever, what else does a man need? Whisky, of course!

Amazing place to visit in Sofia - My husband and I own a family tourism business on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. We are always looking for opportunities to improve the quality of the services we offer, and this was the reason why we attended Mrs. Nordell's cooking class. We are impressed by her professionalism, attention to detail, but most of all, by her attitude towards the client. For Mariela, customer's satisfaction is the most important goal, and we not only learned interesting and new things from the culinary world but also spent a fantastic day in her company. Her sense of humour and her rich life experience turned the cooking lesson into a unique day. We highly recommend Mariela Nordel's services in any area!

It's more then just cooking class - I had great time taking the cooking class with Mariela. The experience started even before I arrived to the kitchen. I contacted her on WhatsApp and together we decided the time of day for the class, as well as tailoring the the three course menu to my preference. I got to learn a nice technique to slice an onion and loved the roasted vegetables salad. In addition of being a patient mentor, Mariela is an interesting person to talk to. Let her tell you about her vast experience as a cook, hotel manager, real estate person and her travles round the world. On the down side, we ended up with dishes to big for a single serving. That's the disadvantage of being a solo traveller. Also, the whole activity starting at the grocery store and ending at the dinner table took more time then I expected. Started at 4:00pm and said goodbye at about 9:30 pm.
