Additional Information

Comino, nestled between Malta and Gozo, serves as a haven for those who enjoy swimming, snorkeling, diving, and walking. It’s an ideal destination away from the bustling harbors of Malta. Our journey begins from Sliema ferries, taking us northwards past Sliema promenade, St. Julian ‘s Bay, St. George ‘s Bay, Qawra Bay, St. Paul ‘s Bay and St. Paul’s Island, and Mellieha Bay until Mgarr Harbour Gozo where we make a brief stop for photo opportunities as passengers wishing to explore Gozo disembark. We will then proceed to the island of Comino, stopping at Crystal Lagoon/St. Nicholas Bay (seasonal) and Blue Lagoon for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing among other activities. On our return trip to Sliema, we will cruise past Comino’s beautiful caves.

Schedule:

Departure at : 10am; Arrival: 5.30pm

November - May: A 4-hour stopover at Blue Lagoon

June - October : 45-minute stop at Crystal Lagoon area/St. Nicholas Bay (weather-dependent) and 3.5 hours at Blue Lagoon

Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non arrival of cruise ship

Totally recommend - Service was good. The boat trip was nice, the captain also commented on the sights we saw. On the way back, they took us to see some caves which was very nice. I would recommend this boat ride if you want to spend a whole day in Comino.

Great way to get to Comino to do some hiking and relaxing. - It was a quick ride to Comino from Malta. The scenery of Comino, and the blue lagoon is stunning. Hiking the island of Comino was very peaceful and serene. I had about 4 hours to spend on the island and it was a good amount of time. There were a few food vendors which is all I needed for a little lunch once I was done hiking.

Enjoyable comino experience - Fantastic experience to explore comino, though this is mainly a transport service between sliema and comino. Not much services staffs can provide, but they are very friendly and willing to help. On the way to blue lagoon, can play the slide in crystal lagoon for 45 minutes. During the 3 hours stop in comino, because the blue lagoon is a little bit crowded, better walk for 25 minutes to go to the santa maria bay for a nice swim. On the way back to sliema, can visit the beautiful sea caves on the boat.

Lovely November boat ride - I loved hearing the history of Malta, as well as getting the chance to go ashore on Comino & explore a little bit there. The biggest surprise was going to the sea caves & proceeding in past the cave entrance.

A beautiful day with sea and beach - A lovely trip that you can also enjoy as a solo traveller. Friendly crew, the glass-bottomed catamaran was in good shape and there was fun, including swimming opportunities and pleasant music when the boat was docked.

A great adventure to a beautiful island. - We had a fab day on the Comino day cruise. The catamaran had a glass bottom so you could see the fish and jellies going by. We snorkelled, swam and used the boat slide at both stops. The water in the Blue Lagoon is beautiful and crystal clear. All staff were helpful and friendly, including Mario at the sales booth. Would definitely recommend adding to your trip to Sliema.

Great swimming/snorkeling experience! - The boat trip was awesome, I got wonderful pictures and my husband and I had a blast swimming in Crystal Lagoon and Blue Lagoon. The crew was helpful when getting on and off the boat and I was impressed with how they handled the boat moving into St. Mary’s caves so everyone could get a good photo. Stick to the left side of the boat for the best views/photo ops. I recommend bringing sunscreen as the ride out and back is lengthy and you get a lot of sun, especially if you sit on the top deck. Food/beer on board was cheap and I was able to rent snorkel gear for the day very cheap (5 euro) as well. At the Blue Lagoon, the boat leaves for a short amount of time and you have to take all your stuff with you so pack light if you can. There was a locker car at Blue Lagoon that you can pay to use if you want to lock up your stuff while you swim. There was also food and drink stands at Blue Lagoon too. Overall I have a phenomenal time for the price I paid!

Hell in Paradise - The crew was great and very professional. I would give a 10 for Luzzu Lines alone. The Blue Lagoon is worth a solid 10 too BUT there was way too many people. And it’s MARCH! I can imagine that place in July, for example. Hords of turists. Not my thing. You have no peace.
