Best transport service from Me Raul - Wow…I don’t know where to start. I took a train from Lisbon to Sintra and planned to use Uber to Cabo da roca and then Cascais and a train back to Lisbon. I got stranded after my sightseeing at Palacio de Pona. It was difficult to get transport back to the centre of Sintra especially as a solo traveler. I came across Mr Raul and he asked me where I wanted to go. While talking to him, I felt comfortable and decided to use his services for the rest of my trip. He took me from the palace to Coba de roca - and told me to take my time exploring the place. I even left my personal items in his car while exploring Cabo fa roca and nothing went missing . From there he took me to Cascais with another stop on the way. He was like a tour guide for me, giving me history lessons about the area and Portugal at large. When we arrived in Cascais he made sure to first show me the train station for when I want to go back to Lisbon. He saved my day and made my last day in Lisbon region so memorable. He was so patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and least expensive. His vehicle is comfortable too. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English.

We were not rushed at all and had an amazing day in and around Sintra. There are so many complexities around the places to see in Sintra that make having a guide essential. Raul was priceless.

My unforgettable Lisbon experience (thanks Raul)! - I had an unforgettable time in Lisbon, Portugal. Seeing the sites in Sintra, Palais de pena and Quinta da Regaleira (the best), along with various other historical sites, beaches and intrigues in Lisbon. This was all thanks to Raul, who took his time to explain all the details, symbols, meanings of every site and symbol we saw both big and small, I received an education on the history of Portugal. Raul was incredibly friendly and flexible, kept time and was quite helpful even when he did not need to be. Perfect day! - We've been wanting to spend a day in Sintra for quite some time. So we decided to hire a private driver to pick us up at the airport and host us around. Raul was not only a great driver, but an excellent guide as well. Sintra Guide - Raul Silva - We took the train from Lisbon to Sintra and met Raul Silva as we left the station. We were initially wary about been hustled into paying for a guide but Raul was patient and not at all pushy explaining the difficulties of navigating Sintra on foot. He was flexible and we agreed a day that suited us. He provided transportation and as the tour unfolded we found his knowledge impressive, really bringing to life many aspects of Pena Palace and other landmarks en route which we may have otherwise missed. He's was a lovely gentle person and also quietly funny. We both enjoyed his company that day. Would definite recommend employing Raul's services for anyone visiting Sintra, he ended up being great value for money. Thank you Raul for a lovely day.
