Outstanding tour of Portugal area - We had a great tour of castle and surrounding area. Andrea was excellent and patient with our group. My wife is recovering from back injuries and was slowed some but he was attentive to our group. Took us to beautiful sights. Went out of his way to personalize the tour. One of the best tours we have done.

Fun and memorable tour - We had a wonderful day with Anna as our guide. She was fun, engaged, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed wandering on our own at Mouros Castle, which was fascinating and beautiful in the fog! Pena Palace was stunning and we appreciated the history and background information Anna provided. We also appreciated her expertise in navigating both places! The drive along the coast and the delicious seaside lunch were also very memorable. Highly recommend.

A wonderful tour. - Our guide Diogo was amazing. He went the extra mile to make our day memorable. In addition to the scheduled sights, for which he provided excellent information, he recommended a great restaurant for lunch. His enthusiasm for his hometown, Cascais, was a delight.

Great Day in Sintra and Cascais - Our guide Fernando picked us up on time and started our trip with some history of Portugal. Throughout the trip, he gave us great insights on Portugal, Lisboa and the coast, with a great attitude and sense of humor. We booked a private trip so that we would have some flexibility during the day. Sintra, Cascais and Pena Castle were all wonderful and we also had time for a terrific lunch on the coast near Cascais.

Start your day early for this trip! - Our guide Goncalo came early to pick us up and took us to Mouros Castle before the crowd hit - and boy we were glad to be early. It was magical! And Goncalo was a great photographer. Expect to move in queue through the entire Pena Palace viewing, room by room. But it is gorgeous and worth it! Goncalo had bought us timed entrance tickets, but we had to line up to buy bus tickets to get upto the Palace from the entrance. Taking the bus up is optional but recommended if you are with kids or elderly. Walking down after the palace viewing was not bad. Goncalo gave us a choice for lunch - Sintra or beach- and we chose the beach. Then he dropped us off at a scenic restaurant by the beach, recommeded by his company. While i don’t remember the name of the restaurant, I do not recommend this place on waterfront that looks like a hotel building. Food was plain and overpriced. The place had no ambience and it was full of tourists. After lunch, Concalo gave us a brief tour of Cascais and then was accommodating enough to drop us off at our car rental and help us w luggage. He was so kind and helpful!

Magical Pena Palace - Pena Palace was magical! Ana and Gonzalo were knowledgeable and so patient. We had terrible weather and had to cancel Cano du Roca but they recommended a restaurant that was absolutely fantastic! On the water with delicious food and service. On the way we stopped in Cascáis and they stopped us by the shore to watch the wild waves and enjoy the ferocious beauty of nature. They were accommodating and very helpful! I hope you are lucky enough to join their tour!

Average Visit. Recommend Having a Guide. - We enjoyed our visit to Sintra and were grateful to have a guide as the town is very busy. Our guide was not as flexible as many of the others we had in Portugal. She kept a tight timeline and we had to make many decisions that cut our ability to attend other activities. We were not able to go to Cabo da Roca due to wanting to spend an extra 10min in downtown Sintra. If you use this company, I would verify the plan before you go, so you don’t get caught missing out on locations that are important to your group.
