Join us on our ‘Wonder Jeep’, our classic UMM 4x4, and welcome to our own version of Wonderland - we can’t wait to share Sintra’s enchantments with you, from a local’s perspective!
You’ll get to experience all the essential places to visit, as well as numerous off-the-beaten-path spots with incredible views along the way!
From the famed Well with its unique staircase (the initiate well in Quinta da Regaleira) to the awe-inspiring sight of the ocean meeting land (at the westernmost point of Europe – Cabo da Roca), culminating in the crown jewel atop the mountain (Pena Palace).

Book this if you want the best day in Sintra - I am a solo traveller from South Korea, and this tour was the best experience I've ever had in Portugal. Mine was a small group of 4 and our guide Tomás not only made our day incredibly efficient but also very enjoyable. I had already arrived in Sintra the day before the tour and explored the city, but if it hadn't been for this tour, I would have missed out a lot. Tomás very well understands how precious traveller's time is and we just want the best while we're here. Being able to save so much time instead of queuing up, getting lost, as well as finding out all the details and tips tourists wouldn't know - this tour is definitely worth booking. I 100% recommend it, with 100% certainty :)

Wonderful time with Alex - What an amazing tour. Great way to see a lot of Sintra. Alex was a wonderful tour guide.
We went as one of 3 on a tour. It would have been a very tight fit with 6 in the back of the jeep. Really fun especially the off road parts

Amazing jeep tour! - I really enjoyed the tour with Alex! My partner and I loved the unique experience in the jeep, we had the roof down and felt the wind in our air from each magical destination, we also loved the yummy restaurant food that he took us to and all the wonderful info he shared along the way. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone who wants a different type of tour, jeep fit 2 couples perfectly but you could make 6 people work.

Highlight of the trip - Absolutely incredible tour! A great way to see Sintra and learn about the history while also getting some local elements that you wouldn’t get otherwise. Tomas was our guide and he made the tour unforgettable - it was the highlight of our trip! He is very passionate about Sintra and does a great job at learning his clients and what they’re looking to get out of the tour. Ending with a port wine tasting at the oldest cellar in Sintra was the cherry on top. This is a must do tour!!

Far exceed my expectations - This tour was amazing, I highly recommend. The activities far exceeded my expectations. His commentary was also wonderful, and he was genuinely invested in his tour. One of my favorite parts of the tour was riding in the jeep, it really added a hit of adventure to the whole experience. I'd most recommend this tour to young adults, although I believe it can be enjoyed at any age. The one considered I would propose is that it does involve a fair amount of standing/walking, especially up hill, so I wouldn't recommend the tour for those with mobility concerns.

You have to do this if wanting to see Sintra!! - We had an amazing day with Alexandre Girrido.
Absolutely incredible scenery and we were taken off the normal tourist route in Sintra and surrounds.
Faultless understanding of the history and geography of the area .
Loved it .So glad we did this smaller bespoke way than the larger tour .

Sintra tour - Alex was fantastic! So knowledgeable, being a local to the area probably helped. He took us out to the Atlantic Ocean, Off Roading & took us to the best view points as well as all the castles & Palaces. It was great being in an open top jeep with only 4 other ( great) people. Thanks guys for a Great Day!
