Initial with a pickup from your hotel or dwelling, hop in for a trip to Ribeira Brava - a mesmerizing coastal city with stunning cliff-overlooking sea views, encapsulated by the breathtaking view of Risco Falls and Laurel Forest. Your guide will escort you along the historic forest roads to landmarks like Encumeada, Ginjas, Paúl da Serra, Fanal, and Porto Moniz. You will get an opportunity to swim in the volcanic lava pools, explore Seixal and São Vicente, capture moments, visit quaint villages, and indulge in local shopping.

Brilliant tour - We had a fantastic tour led by Lino, he was informative, funny, kind & gracious. We packed so much in- 4x4 trip up to the plateau, with our first experience of Poncha. Then down to Porto Moniz for a delicious lunch. Then we went swimming in the volcanic pools which was fantastic & the drive back to our hotel took us via the skywalk for golden hour- a special day. We loved it so much we booked a second tour of the east of the island for our last day in Madeira!
Lino was very knowledgable of all the endemic species of tree & fruit and the history of the island.

Amazing company, Spencer’s a great tour guide - I’ve booked with this tour company multiple times now and my experiences have always been positive. I have requested Spencer since the first tour I had with him as he’s a great tour guide and has a lot of interesting information. Helps that he speaks German as well as English and Portuguese. Overall very good experience!

You have to do this, it is amazing!!! - This was one of the most amazing things I have ever done and the tour guide Nuno was one of the loveliest and most knowledgeable people I have had the pleasure of meeting. He told us so much about the island, it’s vegetation, traditions and took us some of the most spectacular places I have ever been. We went up mountains and up into the clods, off road through beautiful villages and explored places we would never have found on our own. Nothing was too much trouble for him and when we come back to Madeira we will definitely be booking another tour and asking for Nuno to be our guide.

Great day out. - We had a great day out exploring the north west of Madeira. The jeep was very comfortable and Noono (not how you spell it) was an excellent guide. We learned a lot about the island and he took it at an easy pace. Nothing was rushed which did mean he was quite late back. I hope his boss didn't give him a hard time because he was just ensuring that his clients had time to enjoy everything and got excellent value for money. Lunch was good too.

Brilliant day out - We had an amazing time in October during our full day safari with Val. We went through so many different landscapes and we enjoyed Val’s passionate explanations about his wonderful island, culture, nature and history. We had a lovely freshly cooked traditional lunch at a very good price and we even stopped for a swim! (A bit chilly but worth it!). The off road part was very funny and the whole family is still talking about it!
