Simply the best - There are certain places to visit where a guide can not only provide insights into the area being visited, but they can also provide safety and peace of mind when visiting places that may carry some risk if you traveled on your own. This was the case for us when going to the DMZ. We are experienced travelers but we recognized that a guided trip to the DMZ would be much better with a local expert who could get us close to the important historical places at the DMZ zone, but could also keep us away from restricted areas. Wendy, our guide, was all that and more. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel (right on time), until we were dropped off at the end of the tour, she was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable local guide providing us with an experience we will never forget. She has the perfect balance of knowing when to provide information or details along with knowing when to let us simply absorb the experience. She was fluent in English, which really helped give color and depth to what we were seeing. She was also very knowledgeable of the long and difficult history of the region, and that helped put the current situation into a deeper context. I would highly recommend that you ask specifically for her when booking this trip. Thanks again Wendy for a memorable tour with you.

DMZ - What a great experience. Emily was so knowledgeable and helped us understand so much about Korean culture and history. It was a busy day so going earlier means it guide can get in line to wait fit the ticket office to open and secure your spot. We were glad we did a private tour, especially in the tunnel where it can get very claustrophobic if you are in a big group. Thanks Emily!

The most exciting part of our South Korea trip! - Wendy was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and fun. She answered all of our questions and made the trip to the DMZ seamless and easy with the private pick up at the hotel and return trip. The view from the observation deck was stunning and dramatic, the tunnel experience was great fun and quite the work out. This made the DMZ experience so much more real and impactful as you experienced the cool air, limited quarters and what it must have been like for the North Koreans to excavate the tunnel. This required a significant climb up and down on a slope, but was well worth the exercise. There was plenty of gift shops along the way to buy your souvenoirs and all the gift shops along the route were the same so you can buy them at the last stop. You certainly left the tour with a new appreciation for your freedom and gratitude for home. Highly recommend this tour!

Memorable experience in DMZ - The tour to DMZ with Lily was well organized. Everything happened on time and we were guided to the sights. During our private transport from our hotel to the DMZ Lily explained Korean history and key details related to Korean war and how USA got involved into it. Therefore it was much more interesting to begin our tour when we arrived at the DMZ. She was very helful and spoke good english. I can warmly recommend Lily to guide you to DMZ.

5 Star Tour with Wendy - We were keen to visit the DMZ but Unfortunately we didn't realise that it is closed on Mondays! After changing flights etc we were able to visit on a Saturday. Our concierge booked us a private tour. Early start 6am but I was delighted to see the smiling face of Wendy. She had been our guide earlier in week on a city tour. Wendy is very knowledgeable about all things Korea and has a nice delivery manner. I would recommend Wendy to anyone who is looking for an English speaking guide. You will not be disappointed.
