Highlights
  • Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park - Located about 56km northwest of Seoul City Hall and 7km south of the Military Demarcation Line, Imjingak is a representative peace tourism destination in South Korea, where the tragedy of the Korean War remains intact. It is a place where one can learn the value of peace while examining the painful remnants of war. The area is scattered with various war relics and features an exhibition hall as well as the expansive Peace Nuri Park, which is a well-known tourist attraction with its 30,000-pyeong grass field.

Imjingak area was also a devastating battlefield during the Korean War. The Imjin River Railroad Bridge, which was blown up early in the war and still remains, and the Bridge of Freedom, which was crossed by South Korean and UN forces who were prisoners of the communist army seeking freedom, are present. Imjingak was established for North Korean refugees and designated as a tourist spot. Now, with the addition of new facilities such as Peace Nuri, Imjingak Peace Gondola, War Abductees Memorial Hall, and children’s play areas, it has become a large-scale tourist destination spanning 140,000 pyeong.

Additional Information

Since 1950, Korea has been split into North and South! North Korea is often seen as a secretive state characterized by deprivation, while South Korea has grown into a thriving democracy, economy, and cultural hub. The DMZ Area is the unique location where the division of a country can be observed firsthand.
We provide a comprehensive service for tours that encompasses a military escort, transport service, and admission costs along with a detailed narration of the conflict’s history. Seize the chance to tour the DMZ now, because once the Koreas are unified, this experience will no longer be available.

Particular highlights include The 3rd Tunnel, Dora Observatory, and Dorasan Station. Join us at numerous sites within the DMZ to encounter the stark reality of this demilitarized zone for yourself.

Great trip to the DMZ. 3rd tunnel, and observation poat. - Our tour guide Andy was awesome. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves history, like a little adventure on their vacation, and wants to step out of their comfort zone and walk into a tunnel under the DMZ.
