Hallasan Mountain, the iconic centerpiece of Jeju Island, is also known as Mt. Yeongjusan, which translates to ‘mountain high enough to pull the galaxy.’ This mountain is celebrated for its geological significance and has been recognized as a national park since 1970, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2002, a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2007, and a UNESCO Geopark in 2010.

Eoseungsaengak, reaching a height of 1,169m above sea level, offers a 1.3 km trail to the summit that typically takes about 30 minutes to ascend.

From the peak, visitors can marvel at the panoramic views of Jeju city on one side and the peak of Mt. Halla on the other.

If the path is closed due to inclement weather such as heavy rain, snow, or ice, an alternative visit to Mountain Songak or other indoor museums will be arranged.

Wonderful and fun - Wonderful highlights of the south part of Jeju island. Our guide Henry and our driver gave a lot of information and made sure of a relaxed and fun tour. Would definitely recommend during a visit to Jeju island!

Perfect tour for English speakers! - Our tour guide was Henry, who was incredibly helpful, kind and knowledgeable for our English-speaking group. Pickup was well organized in advance, and we were comfortable in a new van. I'd suggest getting your coffee and water (and any breakfast or snacks) before pickup, as your first stop will be a small hike in beautiful Hallasan; it's beginner-friendly with steps and ropes, but be cautious if you have heart issues or struggle with uphill climbs. The rest of the stops are relaxing with beautiful sea views, and a visit to the temple was my favorite. You'll have lunch taken care of (ours was delicious kalguksu), and green tea later in the countryside. The entire tour is relaxed, and Henry really helped us feel at ease and prepared. Thank you for everything!

Very worth it, especially Hallasan - Hallasan is the highlight of this tour, hands down. However, every other place you visit on this tour is definitely worth it as well. Angelo was a great and reliable tour guide. I'd recommend this tour along with the tour to the East.

Best Jeju South Trip! - We really had an amazing tour in Jeju today. This is all because of the wonderful places. We would like to commend the our tourist guide Mr. Henry. Great way to see the South part of the island. Highly recommended. - Excellent tour. Good overview of this part of the island. The guide, Soraya was really good and engaging. Highly recommend this company and tour. The smaller group element is worth the higher price. You move faster and do more. Enjoy!

Amazing experience - The tour company and guide graciously accommodated me as a solo traveler, which I really appreciated. I enjoyed traveling with a smaller tour group and thought that the sights and activities were well planned. I tend to not be a person who likes tour groups, but I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Jeju.

Great experience with Nicole on the South Course - We really enjoyed our tour and our guide, Nicole, was fantastic! During the East course, our favorite sites included the hike at Hallasan National Park and Yakcheonsa Temple; but we enjoyed all the other stops at waterfalls and ocean-side cliffs as well. Pickup was prompt and lunch was delicious. Nicole was friendly and informative throughout.
