Take. This. Tour. Great coffee, knowledge, and tour guide! - My wife and I took this tour during our second day in Seattle. Our first day was really just an evening, so our exposure to the Market area was purposely limited in preparation for this tour. However, even if you know the market well, this is still a tour you should take. While the locations may change, you start a little outside of the market at an amazing local coffee shop where I had my first ever cortado. I am a black coffee drinker and to be honest, I don't really like any sort of dairy in my coffee, but this coffee was amazing and it was paired with a strawberry scone. We then moved our way down the market area and had an amazing pour over coffee and learned about the process from a local chocolate house that roasts their own coffee along with a savory scone. We had some more local coffee and snacks at a local store, some waffles and Thai iced tea, and finally some legit Ethiopian coffee and food. The stories told by Eric and the others involved in the tour were all amazing and well worth it. You leave the tour well fed, perfectly coffee'd up (I typically drink 2 Americanos a morning / 4 shots of espresso over 3-4 hours and I was perfectly satisfied). During the tour you get some great knowledge, early access to places that are not otherwise open, great food, great coffee, and some time in the market before most people show up. Take. This. Tour. Highly recommended!

Excellent Coffee Experience - Eric was am amazing guide for our coffee crawl experience. We enjoyed the personal attention and explanations about the Seattle coffee scene. Eric also gave us historical facts about the Pike Place Market as we moved between tour stops. I highly recommend taking this tour if you are even slightly interested in coffee!

Delicious coffee and a great host! - My husband and I absolutely loved this tour with chef Eric. He was super knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and introduced us to a variety of delicious coffees and small bites; truly some of the best coffee I’ve ever had was on this tour! Afterwards, chef Eric even provided some recommendations for other places to check out while in town. Highly recommend…we would definitely do this again!

Morning Delight - This tour was an amzing way to drart my Saturday morning! Eric is a great tour guide. He's very knowledgeable of the history of the city and the marketplace. My favorite spot was Lands of Origin. Experiencing the hand roasting and listening to the story of families gathering around coffee for hours was delightful. You have to try the lentil sambusa. Other favorable stops on this tour included the authentic chai, mochi waffle, and Daisy's donuts.

Throughout, Chef Eric shared the history of Pike Place Market, the coffee trade, and each shop. A delightful morning enjoying and learning about coffee and Seattle. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend this experience. We left happily caffeinated and got excellent recommendations from Chef Eric for lunch. This was a fun way to see Seattle.

Fun, informative, delicious, and just a nice time! - We received a gift card for this tour from our son and his wife. They knew we love coffee and this tour was amazing! We've been going to Pike Place for 30 years and never done a tour before. Chef Eric was our tour guide and he did an amazing job! We started off at Anchorhead Coffee that had the very best cold brew plus a yummy scone! Honey Bunch of Oats Cold Brew was so good that we went back after the tour to buy some large bottles to take home. Chef Eric took us to a few more places: Indi Chocolate where he explained coffee origins and demonstrated a Chemex pour over brew plus we had a sample of chcolate bits cookie; Made in Washington store where we sampled coffee and some salmon spread; a Chai tea at Aditi Chai; waffle bites and thai iced tea at Hashtag Waffles a block away from market; mini donuts from Daily Dozen at the market; and Ethiopian coffee and a sambusa from an incredible place, Lands of Origin, where the owner demonstrated roasting coffee and explained how coffee was originated in Ethiopia. Eric answered all of our questions about the market, the Seattle food scene, and loads about coffee. All of the places were either in the market or just a block away. This tour was great for us locals, but there were a couple others from California that were visiting and this tour was great for them as well. And it was just a lot of fun! Felt very VIPish with Eric knowing all the owners and as we would walk into a place, they had everything set up for us to sample. Very efficient. Highly recommend to anyone you know that loves coffee, or just loves to sample new foods.
