Castle of Gjirokastra - Archaeologists believe the area has been inhabited since the 4th-5th century. It is located 60 km from Saranda, the departure point.
Gjirokastra Bazaar - The Bazaar’s history dates back to the 17th century. The buildings share a similar architecture, with some being two-storey and others three-storey, but all are structurally identical. The first floor was traditionally used by artisans for work, while the second floor served various purposes.
Ethnographic Museum - The Ethnographic Museum is situated on the site of the former house of communist dictator Enver Hoxha. The house features many classic cultural elements inspired by other beautiful houses in the city. Additionally, we will visit the Traditional Skenduli’s House, guided by the owner.
The Blue Eye - After a break around 2 pm, we will head towards Blue Eye’s Park, where we will spend about an hour. You can explore the area and admire the natural beauty of the Blue Eye, with its crystal-clear water where 5 m³ of water per second emerges from the depths. It is located 35 km from Gjirokastra.
Lekuresi Castle - After visiting the Blue Eye, before heading to the hotel, we will stop at Lekuresi Castle, which offers a 360° panoramic view of the region, including mountains, lakes, and the sea. It is located 20 km from the Blue Eye.
