Highlights
  • Bijambare Cave - Bijambare cave is one of the most beautiful caves in Bosnia and Herzegovina located around 40 km away from Sarajevo. After we are there, first we shall take a nice walk through the beautiful combination of oak, beech and pine forest to reach the Bijambare Cave complex. The walk is enriched with plenty of beautiful scenery, small creeks, small lake usually there in spring/winter, fresh air and much more what will make us have a great beginning of the tour.
After we reach Bijambare Caves complex, firstly we will visit Gornja Cave (Upper Cave). Gornja cave is the oldest cave in Bijambare cave area. It is neither a big speleological structure nor beautiful decorations that make Srednja cave so attractive. However it hides in its floor the most important records of the past fauna and mankind prehistory. Also, it is the highest cave in this complex. So great panoramic views are attractions that we shall not miss here.
After Upper Cave we will proceed to Middle Cave and you will be able to explore most beautiful cave in Bosnia with main hall that is bigger than average stadium. In this cave held one wedding ceremony several years ago. Everything went good, except the thing that they didn’t predict that there will be pretty cold in the cave. Ladies wearing light dresses couldn’t stay long during party.
Later on we will see the Lower Cave and a small lake located in Bijambare Cave complex.

You won't regret it - My tour guide, Jasmin, was exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time. It was clear from the beginning that he was genuinely dedicated to the enjoyment of his guests and with his extensive local knowledge of the area (coupled with excellent spoken English - making communication effortless) he was able to provide insightful information about the caves, springs and everything in between including recommendations on what else to see and (my personal favourite) what to eat in the city. I'm so glad I booked this tour to see a different side of the region and explore nature. The tour itself was worth the money for a unique and memorable experience. Exploring the Bijambare Cave was fascinating, and the serenity of the Spring of River Bosna was pure magic, and i truly feel it was enhanced by my guide. Don't forget to bring cash for tip!!!! I highly recommend this tour, I promise you won't regret it, especially with the incredible Jasmin as your guide. I will be back ❤️

Excellent trip, very well organized, very comfortable, total fun. - My wife and me did 4 day trips with Meet Bosnia Travel. All very well organized in timing, information and convenience. All are full value for money. I strongly recommend Meet Bosnia Travel to anyone visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. 5-JUN: Went for Yugoslavia tour. Group tour in a very convenient van. Saw Olympic Stadium, Latin Bridge, Sniper Alley, Holiday Inn Hotel, Tunnel of Hope which is highlight of the trip, Trebevic Mountains. Our guide shared with us his personal experience of the dark days of war/seize. We could visualize the difficulties faced by people in those days. 6-JUN: Went to Bijambare Cave complex and Spring of River Bosna Tour. Private tour with the charming Lejla Miso as tour guide. We saw the tombs, walked along the beautiful green landscapes, saw the caves. Fantastic place with nature all around. Went to spring of river Bosna. Cool sparkling waters of spring, rumbling rapids, lush green all around. Enjoyment was doubled with natural beauty and very friendly nature and vivid explanations from Lejla. 7-JUN: Went to Herzegovina. Group tour with energetic Milica (Mili) as tour guide. First to Konic, then Jablanica, then Kravice waterfalls, then Poctilej, then Blagaj where we had sumptuous lunch, then Mostar where we saw the famous bridge and had real fun in water. Other than the beautiful places the amazing thing of this tour is the energy level of our guide Mili. She accompanied us everywhere, climbed towers and waded in waters. Also from 8AM to 10PM she had beautiful smile on face. This is commendable. Need to know where she gets so much energy from. 9-JUN: Went Travnik and Jajce tour. Group tour with tour guide Adnan. First to spring of Blue River then Travnik fort then Jajce water falls, then catacombs, then Pliva lake and finally watermills. Extremely beautiful places. Our guide was very polite, cordial and helpful. Also he was very well informed and gave detailed history and accounts of all places. As an additional item he showed us Ornamental Mosque. We really enjoyed all the trips with Meet Bosnia Travel. Actually I chose the company before going there. I was communicating with Ms.Tea Manko to plan our itinerary and I was impressed with her professionalism. I understood that the company is professional. After doing the trips I realized that my choice was 100% correct.
