Senj

Senj - We spend the evening in SENJ with a walk in the pedestrian streets of the city and seaside. The symbol of the city is the Nehaj fortress, built in 1558 and which was the center of the Uskoci who successfully defended the city against the strong army of the Ottoman Empire. Dinner in a seafood restaurant

Senj - Plitvice Lake

Plitvice Lakes National Park - We quickly leave the tar and climb up a beautiful track through the limestone mountains of Croatia. The views of the Mediterranean are splendid. Little by little, we drive due north through deep forest to finally arrive at the end of the day, in the region of the mountains of the Plitvice Lakes.

Plitvice Lake - Bihac

Bihac - It is a great day of walking in the national park that starts in the morning. Plitvice lakes are protected as national parks and are part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. It is undoubtedly the most beautiful park in Croatia and one of the most beautiful parks in Europe. It is composed of 16 lakes, connected by waterfalls. These waterfalls were created by the limestone of the water that deposited between the lakes forming a barrier of limestone rock called travertine. At the end of the day, we reach the Bihac road in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bihac - Kupres

Kupres - Mostar

Mostar - Trails and small roads through beautiful landscapes: the route passes through the lake of Rama and offers a view of the monastery of the Assumption of Mary and then crosses the Blidinje National Park, covered with pine forests, the largest bark pine complex in Europe. Little by little the trail descends towards the city of Mostar, nestled in the deep valley of the Neretva. In the late afternoon we visit this ancient Ottoman city with our guide Almira.

Mostar - Mostar

Mostar - We leave early in the morning for a very long day of trails that will take us to the borders of Bosnia, in the Serbian Republic of Bosnia. It is a wild route that takes place partly on high plateaus and through the mountains from the East to Trebinje. We visit at the end of the day the monastery of Tvrdos, cradle of orthodoxy in Herzegovina before joining by road Mostar

Mostar - Sarajevo

Sarajevo - By the road then the track we reach Konjic where we visit the Tito Bunker. Then the trail gradually rises to the high village of Lukomir which was spared during the war. It is a traditional village preserved, only accessible by the slopes and totally cut off from the world in winter. Silence is only broken by the muezzin’s call to prayer. We will reach by the slopes the ski resort of the 1984 Olympic Games of Jahorina.

Sarajevo - Zablac

Žabljak - In the morning we go down the road to Sarajevo. The morning is devoted to the visit of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, walk in the city center and its cobbled streets in the old Ottoman quarter, visit of the Gazi Husrefbegov mosque etc. It is an after-Quiet lunch, by a transition route that takes us to Montenegro to Zabljak. The route passes through the canyon of the Tara River, the second largest canyon in the world after that of Colorado. At the end of the day, we cross the Dormitor National Park, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site.

Zablac -Tara

Tara Springs Park - This day mixing tracks and small roads allows us to visit the monastery of the Mileseva, world famous for the famous mural of the White Angel. We then cross the valley of Nova Varos, an amazing region with pastures, pine forests and rounded hills before ending the day in the Tara Nature Park.

Tara - Kopaonic

Kopaonik - It is an exceptional day of tracks and small roads through Serbia that takes us to the Uvac Canyon, which is one of the most majestic sites in Serbia. Meandering for more than 20 kilometres, the Uvac River makes its way through rocky walls. Its beauty is unique. We are now in Central Serbia. At the end of the day, we visit the monastery of Stedenica, the largest and richest Orthodox monastery in the country before joining for the last night, the Serbian ski resort of Kopaonic.
