From Funchal, we’ll make our way to São Vicente on the North Coast, renowned for its vineyards, volcanic caves, and local production of Madeira table wine. Next, we’ll explore Seixal’s lava pools, home to the famous waterfall named ‘Véu da Noiva’ or ‘Bride’s Veil’ due to its unique resemblance. We’ll then stop by the natural volcanic pools in Porto Moniz, a popular tourist spot on the island. Here you’ll have the chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters and admire the stunning landscape. We’ll then ascend to Fanal, a place of extraordinary beauty nestled in the Laurissilva Forest, one of Portugal’s 7 Natural Wonders, and home to ancient trees. We continue to Paúl da Serra, the island’s largest plateau, nearly 1500 meters high, where we’ll pause for a lunch break (not included) at a traditional Madeiran restaurant. We conclude our journey at Cabo Girão, recognized as Europe’s highest sea cliff and the world’s second highest, famous for its jaw-dropping viewpoint with a suspended glass floor.
